How does the last gen version stack up to current gen?

Haven't played this game yet, and I don't own a PS4 or Xbox 1, but my brother told me one of the creators of this game said the last generation consoles of this game sucks. However I want to know for certain with details.

So what are the differences (besides graphics) from the Xbox 360/PS3 version in comparison to the current gen console versions? Also how does the 360/PS3 version rank in comparison to WWE 2k14? Is 2k14 still the better game?

I don't have it, but supposedly its exactly like 2K15 on last gen, which was horrible

On Xbox 360/PS3 we have some awesome looking modell (Cena, Orton, KO, Rollins, Miz, Mizdow...), new pin-animation, maybe a little slower gameplay.

For me it's better than 2K15.

Differences (or cons if you see it as so) -

No career

Same caw mode as the last 2 games (Which was expected but ain't too bad IMO because It does what I want it to)

No Break out Entrances

Graphics obviously not as good as XB1,Ps4

Stamina System

No new pin and sub system.

Has Custom Entrance themes

Missing some new moves/Some moves not Available as Sigs/Finishers

create an arena features

No logo importer

No Superstar/Diva Studio

LED apron is static During Matches

More Match Types

No camera cuts during matches except for replay after finishers and OMG moments (Not sure it its a bug or an oversight as the option to turn them on or off is in the game)

Lillian Garcia has on a different dress

Side notes -

Gameplay has slowed down a bit

Some models look better in terms of accuracy.

Update models Faces for some models.

Loading is much quicker.

I've never played 2k15 on last gen but I'm sure 2k16 is far better (and current gen version of 2k15 for that matter). As far as better than 2k14, If this game had create a story and Create a move set (although at this point it would bug me if it didn't because thee are so many moves in the game) and custom titantron from wwe'13, the option to take screenshots and post them on CC(although not a necessity) and a highlight mode...Then yeah. But that's not the case because it's still missing things 2k14 had. But I still find it enjoyable.

Both versions are their own thing...but if u can afford a current gen console then go for it...

but last gen version is also good with much less bugs than 2k15...

Thanks for all the responses guys especially @mrblacksheep. That must have taken a lot of time to write down all that detail. I think it's best to try out the 360 version of the game first before purchasing, problem is since Blockbuster closed, it's harder to find a place to rent games where I'm at.

Not sure if we'll be getting a current gen console this year just because there's still some issues my brother and I have to talk about regarding the next/current gen consoles and whether it's worth it with it's current library. See developers, this is what happens when you think you can charge more for less content, you make the people who don't have so much money very hesitant on purchasing your product.
