Everyone, face textures DO work

This years face scan program is better. It is a matter of knowing how to use it. It doesnt mean it sucks just because you dont know how to use it. Flat face textures dont really work. The way to go about it is use a normal picture like 2k said and make sure you have enough head room to work with. The game was designed to use a regular face like the faces of developers in the creation list. Its easier than other years if you know how. Dimensions or how much space is all you have to worry about.

They may very well work for some people, but not all. I even used a default 2k face to test out the feature and it still didn't work correctly. I'm prettt sure it's simply glitching for some people.

i don't know if it's glitching, but i just decided to let you experienced caw makers make my caws this year. and i'll just work on arenas where i know it's safe lol

You guys will find a way around these issues, you always do lol

yeah instead of moving the face it tries to shape the head to the pic which doesn't work that well, but i tink it'll be better to use a pic of a face far back and not an up close photo

but i still much rather use the face logos as regular logos, only way i can get them to look right. sure the face morphing lil harder since the logo goes away, so it usually takes me a few times. i try to do the eyes then go back see how the nose looks and do it then go back and do the mouth or whatever i need to adjust.

i still hate the blurring and distorting effect but i think it has to do with the lighting and skin as they are more shinier on on new gen than they are on old gen. which is why using a logo importer on 2k14 the models dont have the blurring and distorted effect the biggest problem with it is using arm logos u have to make them really really small and hardly noticable unless u look at them real close in order to see them. u can't make them big enough to notice at a distance without them blurring and distorting.

Big Pete's got a point even though it's harsh.  Chill out pete ;) Also even the given default photos don't work 100%. That asian woman.. Can't fit her head between the caw outline properly, ffs

I think the face importer is a blessing This year... I love it! Only thing that drives me insane is getting that perfect face pic to use :(

The feature is nice to have, but it does come with some issues. Reading the post, I do wonder if that was what happened with mine, because the resolution seemed to change and get wider when I uploaded. I had deformation squishing issues when I'd go into face deformation.. and the in-game designs I'd use on the face would change a few shades instead of blending in with the skin color. Who knows.

The first few times I tried the image became distorted and the colour gets darker like it did with face art in 2k15, this seems to have rectified itself and the issue I now have with it is that when I go through all the deformation and lining it all up perfectly it looks lovely, as soon as I save it the image seems to squish vertically slightly so underneath the eyes are the eyes from my photo. You then cant change or delete the image. It's very frustrating.

Well TBH its how you use the face import..I dont have issues so far

Someone summed it up perfectly. The more effort you put in, the greater the results.
