i've been trying at it and trying at it but the png's never look right on the models

was making a bobby roode , the face texture just never looks right

actual found an aj face texture on bing , and i took it to photoshop , made the size adjustments , and it just looks out of place

and tbh 99% of the picture you find online are the same , the lighting and shadows just never look right on the super star body , even if you feather the image

im starting to think its a superfluous feature search?q=bobby+roode+png&view=detailv2&&

No, it's a great feature. You just don't understand the requirements.

nah , its just pointless because like i said , the vaaaaaaast majority of photos you find online just dont look good with this system . either the photo isn't lit well , or half the face is tan and the other half is pale , the face doesn't line up no matter how you make adjustment . and if you do manage to line up the face , it doesn't look right on the model , the face has lighting and shadowing , but the body is just plain colored and textured .

honestly , the game is great , but this feature needs to be thrown out , they should've AT LEAST made the photo blend in to the rest of the superstar body , color wise so thatt you still get the facial features , but the colors are seamless

Most of the problems you mentioned have nothing to do with the mode, but with the photo itself.

exactly what im talking about

na its the mode and way its set up, for example 2k14 set up is 10X better. cause i used a save editor with a logo importer and those images didn't have the blur & distortion effect like the way its set up in 2k15 & 16

and the best way to do face logo is size 128X128 and used as regular logo and not imported as face. and i know 128X128 is very low quality but it usually lines up 95% of the time. whenever i try using a larger size logo it usually ends up being to large to line up properly

The texture in that video was pure garbage. But i see the blur etc.

and why can't we add logos to the weilding mask like u can in 2k15? cause thats what i used for Predator face on 2k15 but now im having to use one of those mask that makes ya head 3X to big

that's a poor texture

Do you really expect the game to do all of the work for you? You expect any old image off the internet to work? You really expect it to do automatic re-colouring and blending? No, that's not how it works.

You need to use images that are workable. You need to make the images comply with the tools provided. The people who are pumping out phenomenal CAWs have the same tools as you. You just need to put the work in on your end. It's not supposed to be a 5 minute process.

It REALLY isn't the best way.

thats actually from a hd bobby roode pic , just cut out the head , , blank out the eyes , sized it right , but it just doesn't look got on a model and doesn't fit ,

whether you save it as a face photo or a 512x512 it just doesn't look good

and if you use the clone stamp to texture out the face you've almost destroyed all the facial features , and at that point , whats the point of it all .

i've see one decent ADR caw , and that was done without the face pics , it was done completely in game . bobby-roode.png

You're grasping at straws

Like most things in life you get out what you put in. Understand how the mode works and work with it.

the results have been very impressive so far, you just have to put in work.

^That almost sounds like a nice way of saying you're fucked if you don't know how to texture or even lineup textures.

Sure if that's how you want to interpret it. My point would be if you are wanting good results put the effort in to learn how.

We all have the ability it's about how you apply yourself.

i guess so. i guess patience has never been my greatest virtue. and no that doesn't mean i'd go on cc just to steal someone else's content lol Like for instance the photo in my profile pic. i've been trying to figure out how to texture it. someone said it can't be done because of the background and the pose. but i don't know since i did have someone extract it last year. i'll check out some tuts and see what i can do with it. I've never been a great cawer. i've always put my focus into entrances, alt attires of in game superstars and creating arenas lol

yeah im hearing the same complaints from alot of people , even longtime creators from caw.ws

and its almost unanimous , the face logos suck royally

i even went back to color burn the highlights and still nope , you can still see the edges very well

and no matter what size the eyes and nose just dont line up , no matter what .

atleast people can enjoy the awesome gameplay this year

Man if u kno what ur doing the face texture feature is soo kool lol I even put myself in the game this yr

I really think the problem is some of us are experiencing glitches and some are lucky and aren't. I made a CAW on day one, it came out ok. The next day I went to do one and the face came out way better. I finished the work backed out and the face went small and it looks like theres an image on the face. So somethings up with the game because they really made CAWs easy to make but the glitch is killing it.

Exactly the problem ive encountered and assume alot of others.

i made a caw completed the attire then added the face last, when i finally applied it it loaded and the texture moved completely of of place, i then played around with different sizes which all gave me the same result, until i finally decided to start a new CAW and applied the face texture first and it came out perfectly fine.

That happen to me only when i try to put  a photo capture over an already  existing one
