Hi kim i have  the NPUB-31743 version which is the us psn version....the dlc works for the blus and the npub versions , so i replaced the original eboot in the NPUB-31743 folder in the
"game" folder and there is a blus folder which contains the dlc files only so i ddn't find an eboot there to replace other than the one in game /NPUB-31743 folder

but on booting the game it kicks me back to xmb and says error starting.....how do i fix this ? (btw when i got my original files back it worked again)

You must edit the psn eboot yourself (following taker's tutorial), just remove the red marked stuff: http://fs5.directupload.net/images/151105/d2r55v5d.png but nothing more

So i have followed the tutorial and opened up the eboot.elf and zeroed out the entries in your screenshot then selected decompress data off then resign to non-drm eboot and replaced the eboot. Bin in the game folder but still no luck

I've found that you have to use the retail disc rip and replace both eboots in Game and Games.

I couldnt get the eboot trick to work with a digitial edition of the game.

Look at the xex and there are 3 instances where the arc is referenced. Removing the second two instances causes the game to give a dirty disc error even if the arc files are present. Removing the first entry doesn't do anything. I've removed all the pac entries and the arc entries in the first instance as you recommended, the game takes longer to boot and then gives an error when the arc files are not present.

 

I've left the arc files present with the first instance entries removed, the game boots fine but the game crashes when selecting wrestlers if there are wrestler pac files which are bigger in size. Here are pictures of what I've done, maybe you guys can spot something:
