kim666 Posted November 2, 2015 Posted November 2, 2015 It seems wwe2k16 is very mod friendly on PS3 after i modded the eboot.bin. I replaced alot of ingame wrestlers without a problem (22+). On 2k14 i always get a black screen, when i replaced to much. 1 Quote

kim666 Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 here is the modded eboot.bin https://www.sendspace.com/file/ozbr90And yes you can replace pac files without editing the def and arc files, but you need to replace them in the "game" folder and not (like we did before) in the "GAMES" folder. Andy Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 (edited) Awesome like always Kim ! Thanks for that Eboot and Info. Edited November 3, 2015 by Andy Quote

Is it the eboot for the update 1.01? Quote
Andy Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 Yes its for the update 1.01 FW. 4.75. Only bad thing is the loading time, so dont worry of the black screen only wait 2-3 minutes. Quote
kidsampson Posted November 4, 2015 Posted November 4, 2015 This year's game would make a good base for a Monday Night Wars version of the game with these additions. Ax and Smash are thrown in because of all the great tag teams included in this year's game and forthcoming DLC.2K12AxSmashWWE 13 Scotty 2 Hotty - DLCGrand Master Sexay - DLCGangrel - DLCVal Venis - DLCChainsaw Charlie - DLCAnimalHawkBradshaw (APA)Eddie GuerreroFaarooq (APA)Mike TysonRoad DoggThe GodfatherTriple H2K14GoldbergHollywood HoganRazor RamonYokozunaVirgil (DLC)Macho Man nWo - DLCSyxx - DLCCurt Hennig - DLCScott Steiner - DLC Quote

There are some entries after the arc entries, so I'm going to move these up and paste over the arc entries. Then I'm going to zero out the extra data at the end. Did you follow this procedure when editing the eboot.bin file on the ps3 or did you just zero out the data for the arc entries? Edited November 5, 2015 by tekken57 Quote
UndertakerWLF Posted November 5, 2015 Author Posted November 5, 2015 I zeroes out the entries and left everytihng else in place. Quote

First i zerod only the .arc entries out and the game gave me a "game data corrupt" error when i tried to replace files. Quote
tekken57 Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Can you post a screenshot of what your data in your file looks like before and after, in that way I can identify the same data in the xex. I've found a few places where the arc is listed, but each time I delete the arc, I get a disc is dirty error. Maybe I also need to remove the pac folder entry. Quote

UndertakerWLF Posted November 6, 2015 Author Posted November 6, 2015 I've also realised that you need to leave the arc for DLC in place otherwise DLC does not load. Quote
tekken57 Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Thanks for the pictures Kim, the xex file looks quite different. I'll post what it looks like soon, travelling at the moment. Quote

What happens if you copy the original files back? Quote
RR903 Posted November 8, 2015 Posted November 8, 2015 I replace some .pac files from game folder not GAMES, (3 as number).after i replace back with the original it works perfectly.and eboot was replace.that's all (4 files).did i miss smth? Quote
UndertakerWLF Posted November 8, 2015 Author Posted November 8, 2015 Did you import files from another game? You need to tell us what files you imported and what you named them, are you using a modified eboot or the original eboot? Quote
RR903 Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 I use kim666 eboot file,i replace 3 .pac files (139,201 and 513)-139 .pac file from wwe 2k16 and the two .pac file from wwe 2k15.The files name are ch139,201,513 in the "ch" folder (game not GAMES) Quote
UndertakerWLF Posted November 9, 2015 Author Posted November 9, 2015 I always copy both pacs to 'GAME' and 'Games', also I have found that you have to rename the pach file name within the pac itself for it to work correctly.so for example you have The Rock with Ch100 and you want to replace this with say Kanes Ch107.Change the main pac file to match the Rocks so ch107 becomes ch100, now open up that file in a hex editor and go to offset 0000800You should see and EMD lineyou need to change it so that it goes from 00010002 to 00010702. Hope this helps Quote
RR903 Posted November 9, 2015 Posted November 9, 2015 I don't find offset 0000800 in Hex Editor.I use X-Packer to modify ex:00010002 to 00010702 what it's EMD line?If you want printscreen will be much easier and useful for me.Apreciate! Quote
