Breakout in Universe

So, sorry if this is common knowledge but there is another bug in universe which is stopping breakout from working.

The only way you can get breakout working in Universe is by fully customising a match; it will not work with any default matches set by the CPU

I am hoping that this will be patched in with the title fix, I am guessing that they haven't ported over all the functionality from Exhibition mode.

If that were to work you would have to choose who to play as before the match start, the game obviously needs to know who the player is and who can do the breakout

Yeah, what they could do is set so you have to choose who to play as before the match starts though.

Yeah, I was thinking thats how it could work, its better than nothing though I guess!

You could also just use the "change the participants" option. But doing that every time you want to breakout gets pretty annoying.

it's not a glitch because you have to select who you are before the match to do the breakout. just press R1/RB to choose participants, and select the same participants, choosing who you want to play as and you can do it and as a note it won't ruin the rivalry as long as you don't save the match (play right away) and choose the same superstars that universe chose for the rivalry match.  hope this helps

Strange...I played a Universe match last night (which I set myself...Nash vs Ryback), it had the breakout option (I became Nash), proceeded to get a sledge hammer from under the ring and hit Ryback with it before the match started, as soon as the bell rang the screen came up asking me if I wanted to join, and I chose Ryback and proceeded to lose the match.
