X-Packer 2016 / X-Rey Official Thread

@tekken57

Thanks. Hopefully you can find a fix. This file has really thrown a snag into what I'm working on.

PS: Happy Birthday! :)

Thank you.

I found the issue, there was a slight mathematical change required. The directory computation for the offset listing is slightly different for pac files with a large number of directories (i.e greater than 28 directories). I've fixed it already and it will be on the next X-Packer release. I'm busy coding the pac plus functionality as we speak.

Awesome, that was quick. Thanks @tekken57.

I've been beating my head against a wall for about a week trying to get universe images to work without crashing. Hopefully this fix will solve my problem. :)

Think this might be similar issue to that issue people have had with some renders not appearing in the typeb files? @robbie686 might want to take another look at the files after this patch.

Which menu item is used to open these files in X-Packer? I've fixed both the directories and the directories (EPK8) menu items.

@tekken57

When i inject a caw 3d beard, then it is invisble.

how to fix this issue?

You probably have to change the material assignments in the yobj and redo the uv's for your new texture.

waiting for activation code.

Thanks so much for the inject smaller function! Great job man, so helpful. :D

Glad to hear. It is working for you? I didn't have the time to test it with every type of object, I only tested with replacing heads and body parts.

Tekken if we have X-rey 1.6 already, do we need to purchase 1.7???

No it's a free update. If you haven't received the update, email me.

It didn't work with boots and kneepads. They injected fine and the model looked fine but ingame they don't work.

The boots didn't animate while walking, they where stuck, I had to inject them to 001A. The kneepads are glitchy.

For some reason installing mods isn't working, tried to add Goldberg pofo and got nothing. Not necessarily an X-Packer problem but just wanted to see if you had any idea. Thanks!

EDIT:

Never mind, forgot to put the new version on run as admin. All better now, thanks :)

HI. Could you please fix the window scaling issue, X-Packer 10 had this problem but I could at least see one or two lines to be able to scroll through, this time I can't see anything when I double click a pac/pach to see the contents within :(

Could you possibly make the inner window manual scale-able or detect the window height and width and scale automatically accordingly please.2b7e37b2bc2a3a94fb88c260b4bd7faa.png37dfb530c7e229427da85f7f1b9293d0.png

Please note I have tried closing X-Packer, entering it with the window full then opening the pac files and this is still the result.

Can you please tell me which menu item you have used to open the pac and which pac file it is that is giving you the issue. Also state what resolution you are running at the moment.

It does it with ALL Pac files with multiple items inside.

My resolution is 1920x1080.

Here are a couple of examples using random pac files but I will ensure they have multiple files inside though rather than one.

I will use full screen snaps so you can see what is happening exactly, I use no programs that should have any bearing on this, they are really common things like Steam, temp gauges, gyazo for screen shots, but no modified drivers or gpu affecting things, I have a nvidia card (680 GTX), 16GB Ram, 8 core i7, Windows 10 and using no overclocking tools. The only commonly uncommon tool I have running is voicemeetr but I have tried disabling this which has no impact on the results.

I will try to be as in depth as I can

Please note, running as administrator makes no difference but for this I am doing so to eliminate any doubt.

Open X-Packer 2016 full window (defaults to full window)

File > Open > PC Pac File : ltag_typec.pac (collection of pach's containing the 512x512 renders, 2 files per pach)

So far I assume this is normal, it is perfectly good to work with but I assume its not supposed to fill the window right?

15850bf54e993bf624a91bd4d54031db.png

Now I will double click the file name of a random pach file.

990f20f35f178f954ceaa9c0c3fd7ef7.png

Now I will try starting with a decently sized window, a good chunk of the screen proportions.

Close X-Packer 2016, reopen it and scale the window. (I hit the maximise button in the top right corner then manually drag the corner to make it a reasonable size)

b5e52feeea96c98399ff93c920c262dc.jpg

OK, wish it would fill the window but still I can work with this just fine.

Now when I double click another random pach it opens in a maximised window that looks exactly as the second pic, but I will click the maximise button anyway and scale to show it doesn't adjust in any way.

Now if I show you what I have previously worked with on X-Packer 10.4 in comparison.

The scaling is the same as above but when I double click on a file I can at least see one line to work with, not ideal but at least I can work with it.

f220b5e07b96dd60cb28f85d547a28dd.png

If I start with a fairly small window the scaling of the GUI window is too small so I have to work with a sizeable window (both versions of x-packer), not ideal but I can work with it.

I assume X-Rey is fine but I will show you out of curiosity anyway.

*Using latest version you sent me a few days ago but the previous versions were the same.

I assume this is normal and I can work with this just fine.

Please note, dragging and scaling the window after it has opened does not do any form of readjusting or automatic scaling, the anchor points of the inner window panes do not adjust, move or scale at all regardless. I have clicked and dragged, right clicked, double clicked and it would appear there is no way to readjust it at all.
