thebib62 Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 (edited) Meaning, any type of custom logo/design placed on a mini-tron is rendered useless during entrances, again? I have not found any way to retain design/logos placed on minitrons during entrances.Am I missing something? Because all that ends up happening is that, the wrestler's minitron overrides the arena graphics placed on the minitron screen just like in 2K 13, and 2k 14. EDIT: *UpdateJust as an update to everyone here, I emailed 2K, and they are looking into the issue. I got lucky with the person who got my email, sounds like he's an actual fan of WWE and 2K16.I'll keep you guys posted! Edited November 7, 2015 by thebib62 Just as an update to everyone Quote
KRadiation Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 If I recall correctly, On 2k14, If you turned off the selected wrestlers mini tron on create an entrance then when you used them on a created entrance that has images there, the images remain. Quote

AlcLegacy Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 You're kidding right? Because you cant see some shitty logo on the minitron in entrances, you're gonna return the game? Lmao asshat. 6 Quote
mrjordanreece87 Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 What!! You want to return a game that doesn't allow one freaking logo on a screen? Ffs pull ur head outta ur arse man ur lucky u got the game while I'm sat here still playing the Bismol of 2k15 because international release doesn't happen for 2k so I'm stuck playing this shite and you want to return it because a fking logo issue? It switched to nitro after the matches started. not a big deal but yeah it's there lol Quote

Has anyone figured out if there are any screens or anything that allow for a custom logo and won't turn into a movie during entrances? At least in the past there would be one or two set pieces that would but I can't find a single one this year. Basically makes the idea of designing a stage pretty useless. Quote
thebib62 Posted October 28, 2015 Author Posted October 28, 2015 @skunkypants, thank you! I wasn't going to even bother wasting my time replying to that user, but you nailed it!Pretty much the only reason I got this game was for Create-An-Arena. Since this fuck up happened, the game is pretty much useless to me, unless there's a glitch to bypass it.Does anyone here have the PS3/360 version? If so, could you tell me if the game issue is found in those versions? Quote
deadman04 Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 So far the only arena that had custom logos appear during entrances was the SmackDown fist arena, the top left hand 'wall' tron kept my custom logo throughout. Quote

Yes, but not during the entrance. When an entrance is going on, you don't see the Raw or SmackDown graphics.I understand your point. The problem is that there are no parts that you can use that allow you to add any kind of custom branding. So where as the WWE uses the big huge LED stage where all the screens change to entrance videos, they at least have the huge WWE symbol on the stage. In the past, we were able to re-skin some of the set pieces and add textures to them that way. For example the Survivor Series 97 tunnel was really useful as you could re-skin it, plus add a logo to the top plate. (At least in WWE 13 you could. There was a bug in WWE 14 and it would turn into a postage stamp sized video). But now, that's been removed as all the set pieces have to remain 100% intact. A perfect example is the Clash of the Champions flag not being able to be changed.I know it's not a total game breaker. The game is still fun. It's just frustrating that an entire mode that's supposed to allow you to make your own custom arena, basically relegates you to always using a generic mashup of WWE trons. ESPECIALLY when you consider the possibilities of what could be done if they simply allowed us to decide which screens we wanted graphics on instead of video. Last night I spent 2 hours designing a custom logo and making my own lighting rig/entrance way for an ECW arena in photoshop. Then I spent another hour finding a perfect configuration of screens to cheat it so it looked like an authentic 1997 ECW arena, only to have it turn two of the screens into smoke and the other into some red pulsing movie during entrances. Rendering the entire idea useless. If you can't see not only why that's frustrating but also how awesome things would be if they simply made a small tweak. I don't know what to say. Lots of arenas have that logo printed on the floor but no I can honestly not see how it is an issue, thats how it is in real life, and if you can't breathe without seeing your custom logo for 10 seconds because it is literally (probably, depending) on your apron in the ring, its only on the stage you don't see it.Anyways if it is that important to you just set every superstar you will be using on that arena's minitron to arena minitron, but it really is pointless, its a lot more personal to have their own graphics, I mean its just like having your own theme or titantron, just a bit more. Or do you remove all superstars own titantron and themes as well? Quote

Skunk, keep preaching! I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves arenas, and making them. Thanks man. To me CAA has the potential to be this great sandbox to play with. I don't even mind the limited set pieces this year because with the logo importing you could do fun workarounds for things. There's just this one thing that seems to be screwy every year. Its seems so simple to me too. If you want the screen to be a movie, pick that, if you don't pick pattern. It's not like when you select 'OFF' that the mini trons suddenly turn on during entrances....or do they? lol I haven't tried. Quote
narcotictundra Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 it sucks, but you'll have to turn off every wrestler's mini-tron (or set it to "Show" or whatever - i dont have the game in front of me) that's the only way to get it to work I tried this on the ps4 version and that doesn't work. Skunk, keep preaching! I'm glad I'm not the only one who loves arenas, and making them. ugh! dang! hopefully we can figure out a workaround then Quote
Cerb Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 (edited) Meaning, any type of custom logo/design placed on a mini-tron is rendered useless during entrances, again? I have not found any way to retain design/logos placed on minitrons during entrances.Am I missing something? Because all that ends up happening is that, the wrestler's minitron overrides the arena graphics placed on the minitron screen just like in 2K 13, and 2k 14.Uhm, what? Yes, during an entrance the individual wrestler's graphics will turn on, this is completely normal and why would you not have it do that? Uhm....maybe because people who make arenas would like to use custom art work for their stage designs in order to make it look like a real stage??? Has anyone figured out if there are any screens or anything that allow for a custom logo and won't turn into a movie during entrances? At least in the past there would be one or two set pieces that would but I can't find a single one this year. Basically makes the idea of designing a stage pretty useless. If you absolutely need to see your custom show's logo the 2 seconds the superstar is on the ramp, why not just print it on the floor? Lots of arenas have that logo printed on the floor but no I can honestly not see how it is an issue, thats how it is in real life, and if you can't breathe without seeing your custom logo for 10 seconds because it is literally (probably, depending) on your apron in the ring, its only on the stage you don't see it.Anyways if it is that important to you just set every superstar you will be using on that arena's minitron to arena minitron, but it really is pointless, its a lot more personal to have their own graphics, I mean its just like having your own theme or titantron, just a bit more. Or do you remove all superstars own titantron and themes as well?Meaning, any type of custom logo/design placed on a mini-tron is rendered useless during entrances, again?
