LordBarker Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 (edited) Yup, it's come to this.I want to get rid of all the Justin Roberts audio in 2K14 for our Legends game, and I know Bugsy is also super keen to make this happen! I have found almost every entry call, so have a file with approximately 11,000 .wav files in a folder which need sorting. The .wavs are just Roberts and Fink audio - all the commentary has been deleted from this folder.Due to my day-job in the film industry I'm rapidly running out of time and mainly will, to organise these files. I have started, but don't think I'm going to ever have the oomph to sit and organise these things which I'll need to do to replace all the Roberts audio. I need 11,000 .wav files gone through and put into specific folders. It's not a challenging job as such - but it requires a bit of time and to know which call is Roberts and which call is Fink - again, it's not difficult. However I need folders for ring calls, belt calls, tag calls, name calls (I can provide a reference to all of these name calls), match rules calls, 30 Years of Wrestlemania calls and a few more for both Roberts and the Fink, as I need to know the file names (which are all number) to change them in-game. I'm happy to pay someone to do this as it's fairly laborious. I guess someone who does data entry or some such thing might be a whizz at this, since it's just listening to audio clips and putting them in the correct folders. This is PAID work. If not I've pretty much had it with the sound stuff to be honest as I physically don't have the time to catergorize all of these sounds which is needed to replace the Roberts audio. Quote

Right now I'm placing them in general categories, tag teams, title belts, towns, etc. after that the plan is to sub-categorize them. Example for tag teams you would have sub categories for the shield, the four horsemen, evolution, demolition, etc and then separated by fink calls and Justin Roberts calls. I'm hoping to have all the general categories sorted by the end of the week. If you are interested in helping with sorting general categories into sub categories, let me know. This is quite time consuming. Thankfully lordbarker took care of the first 10,000 or so files! Quote

You've got through a ton!If it's (slightly) easier you can put them in one sub-sub-folder, for example the folder for Demotion can have both the Roberts and Fink calls in I take it you got the included Excel sheet? stlpowercat Posted October 30, 2015 Posted October 30, 2015 I have 750 wav files left. So I will be done with the initial sort tonight. I'd like to proof the folders one last time just to make sure I didn't accidentally place a file in the wrong folder. After that I'll be able to share the workload. We need tag team calls sorted, generic town/state/country calls sorted, and if lord barker thinks it's worth the time...create a wrestler calls sorted. The caw folders alone are 1,000-2,000 files. I've almost organised all Belt, Ring and Match announcements into sub categories and started changing some in-game audio. Thankfully Roberts no longer announces the Royal Rumble so far The in-game changes are technically quicker than sorting, but just as laborious.There will be a few files that seem to have gone AWOL, and some that I couldn't convert, so about 98% of Roberts can be erased. Oh and don't worry about sorting generic towns - it's pointless! If you find 'British Columbia' FINK call let me know Edited October 30, 2015 by LordBarker Quote
