Arena mistakes in video

Recommended Posts

Smacktalks appears to have made several mistakes in the arena list.

- '96 King of The Ring - we've seen it already in the videos released about Austin's showcase.

- St. Valentines Day Massacre and Backlash were in '99, not '98.

- Fully Loaded or Over the Edge '99 has to be in to explain Austin's matches with Ministry Taker.

- Royal Rumble '98 - Explains Vader and the Honky Tonk Man's attire.

@joshliger Unlike some others, I appreciate you making a topic on this because any true wrestling fan who knows their history, knows that Smacktalks is missing a couple or a ton of Arenas from that list.

- Fully Loaded '99 (Would explain Ministry Taker & X-Pac's Inclusion)

- Royal Rumble '98 - (Reason for Vader, Honky Tonk Man's new attire, and Retro Version of Mark Henry)

- Fully Loaded '98 (Taker & Austin vs Kane & Mankind for the WWF Tag Team Titles)

- No Mercy 2000 (Austin vs Rikishi in No Holds Barred Match)

- King of the Ring '96 (Obvious inclusion)

- Wrestlemania 19 (Another obvious inclusion)

Anyway, after looking at both Smacktalks' Q&A + Preview videos, reviewing the entire roster(on-disc) and going through Stone Cold's top ppv matches on wikipedia(with the exemption of any with Austin vs Owen Hart OR Kurt Angle matches of course), I've come to the conclusion that we may end up with all of these classic arenas on-disc:

1) WCW Bash at the Beach
2) WCW Clash of the Champions XXV
3) ECW November to Remember
4) RAW IS WAR 1998
5) RAW IS WAR 1999
6) RAW 2002
7) Smackdown 1999
8) Royal Rumble '98
9) Unforgiven '98
10) Fully Loaded '98
11) Summerslam '98
12) Over The Edge '98
13) Wrestlemania 12
14) Wrestlemania 13
15) Wrestlemania 14
16) Wrestlemania 15
17) Wrestlemania 17
18) Wrestlemania 19
19) King of the Ring '96
20) King of the Ring '97
21) King of the Ring '98
22) King of the Ring '99
23) Survivor Series '96
24) Survivor Series '98
25) IYH: Revenge of The Taker
26) IYH: D-Generation X
27) IYH: Rock Bottom
28) St. Valentines Day Massarce
29) Backlash '99
30) Fully Loaded '99
31) Royal Rumble '01
32) No Way Out '01
33) Backlash '01
34) Vengeance '01
35) Rebellion '01
36) Armageddon '02

Not bad
Any additional classic WCW/WWF arenas(excluding DLC) you think will be in there/that I'm missing, please list them..

What part of what video is this? Because the one I'm thinking of, he listed that which was in the create section, not the ones which were actually being used in the stone cold mode. Have I missed a video?

Forgot about retro Mark Henry, thanks for adding that.

I wish we could get a response from him regarding these possible mistakes, as it's being talked about on several boards.

Excuse me for wanting some clarification from someone who played the game.

That video was very poorly put together, sorry if that offends you.

Well I'm not burning down houses lol, just pointing it out on a message board. Isn't that what these things are for?

@joshliger.

You're very welcome, Josh. And ignore the immature insults from adolescents; teens or kids on here. Jeff and I appreciate you doing this. Others will too. I think the only reason why Smacktalks hasn't made a response is because 2K probably told him to shut up and that he better not spill anymore beans about the game or else!!!... lol

so, 2k let him play the game for 2 hours and a. you expect him to be an expert and remember everything, then b. 2k sports are trying to shut him up?

makes perfect sense! :/

Well I think you've alienated yourself already Mr Liger well done, in only 5 posts impressive

Completely pointless thread....being harsh on a chap who is most likely under lock and key about what he can/can't talk about...not only that but takes the time to make a video and share it....

And your slating the video over what a few tiny mistakes? you've made yourself look like a complete horses arse to be honest.

If this was my site, and I'd put as much time and effort into as Paul does, I'd probably go on a complete ban rampage and remove every gobshite on the forum. (see ya later, Geoff)
