BigBlueRI4x Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 Hi all,I realize as time goes by WWE2k14 will be more an afterthought than ever before, but I'd like to know if others experienced the problem I am having. I have a ton of CAWS, both downloaded and taken from the Vault on the XBox360 forum, and seem to run into frequent corruptions of a game save when I inject some into it using PUR3's tool. I know I'm doing it right because the other day I did a couple CAW's at a time with no ill effects, then inject another one or two and the save comes back corrupt when it loads in-game. My most recent experience had this occur when I tried to inject a CAW that had been DL'd from CC online to another save ages ago, while others I injected from the same save had no issue. The DL'd CAW was fine on the original save when I had it on my XBOX. For the heck of it, I tried restoring this original save back to my XBox360 with all CAW's, Arenas, Logo's, via USB, and that corrupted. I used USB Xtaf to get all files onto the USB drive. I want to add this save has never been altered since it was backed up from my XBox a long time ago.Any suggestions as to what I might be doing / have done wrong here? Do CAW's just suddenly "go bad" when you extract them off a USB? What happened to the days when the corrupt CAW would just delete, and the rest of the save is spared? I am now using Horizon, but that isn't making a difference with the injection. Quote

I have injected hundreds of times and even helped people manage their saves. Even after injecting 100 caws in one session, never have I gotten a corrupt save. Are you by any chance injecting to a save then not pull that save back from your box when you inject again? What I like to do is use BreinJ WWE Editor to rehash everything a second time after every injection. It is the most stable resigner that I know of. So what I am saying is I completeley do the injection process, change the display number and rehash in Horizon, THEN rehash everything one more time with BreinJs editor. Quote

I have the WWE12 ones (save/Caw tool and paint tool injector), thought I could only use that on that game. I'll have to dig that out and see if I can find the resigner. Are you resigning the 2nd time the save file, and the cas files? Quote

I got a little lost.Because I've had so many issues, I am injecting only a couple at a time. Most recent attempt ended up in a corruption. Trust me--I'm doing this to the T, esp when you consider I've had some successful attempts following the tutorial that was posted in the forum. What I've been doing is inject maybe 3-4 CAWS, resign them and the save, move back over the USB, fire up the game and make sure there's no corruptions. Should I be going into the CAWS, save them in-game, and move the save back to the USB to inject additionals? This was already getting to be a lot of work, and this will made it even more painful. Or are you injecting into the one that is still sitting on you pc that was successful? Is this what you are doing?:*Inject 3-4 caws using the tutorial*Move to the Xbox*You start game and everything works****NOW for the next step, Do you: (A) Move your now working save back to the pc to inject again? (B) Head back to the pc and start injecting into the save that was just injected to?Because you should be doing (A). Quote

This is all very strange, that doing the same injection steps works most of the time, but not always. For example, I've learned that when I inject a Tully Blanchard CAW that I had previously downloaded (but made changes to) on an older save, it causes this newer save to become corrupt. Meanwhile, an Arn Anderson one from the same save, who I did similar edits to (added jackets with the 4 Horsemen logo) injected just fine. Quote

I did a 2nd resign/rehash with Le Fluffie and low and behold got Tully's CAW on the save and no corruption. Even added Barry Windham. Bad news is when I went back to inject several more doing everything exactly the same, save got corrupted. It's looking like I should do a small number at a time. Very maddening. Quote
Dbo2700 Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 If you have 360 Haven account, I really recommend getting BreinJ's WWE editor from 13. It is THE BEST rehash/resigner ever. Use it for you second resign and you can inject as much as you want at once. I was helping someone here and injected 100 at once, no problems. Quote

No no. Reading and typing is really easy. It doesn't bother me. Lol. No. Mods are modded in game models. It is not a save file. You are Modding the files on the game disk. That is different from CAWs. You need a jtag or rgh to use mods. Sorry. Quote

Then there is a tutorial for adding all that stuff. It's a lengthy process. I'll send you the links to those here shortly. Quote

I keep seeing people say that, but I just used mine last night. it must be some windows 7 upgrade i got that i'm unaware of. i know you need dot netfix but i'm unsure what the actual problem is. i know i had the same problem with xpadder in windows 8 and 10 and when i finally got it to work, my controller was acting haywireishly lol Quote
