not able to change .pac files to .dds

Good Morning all 

well at least it is in the Morning in Germany..I tried to play a bit with the arenas and followed LordJustice's tutorial but I have following issue which I currently can not get solved.

It is stated that you should uncompress and rename the .pac to .dds. Somehow this is not working. When adding .dds to the file, it is still stated as .pac file and not chaning to .dds.

Anyone with the same issue or having a clue how to convert the files?

No.Press Control Y and open the .pac

Sounds like the extensions not changing. Try changing it in properties.
