I personally doubt that Owen is a playable character in this game. It could be, though, that Owens wife was paid for a limited legends contract with the stipulation that his name wasn't used to help WWE make money. I.e. Advertising ahead of time to increase sales. 

After Ultimate Warrior was inducted into the hall of fame I'd say anything is possible.

I'd say considering that WWE owns all of Owen's video footage and WWE is now producing a DVD project on him, he very well could be in the game.  WWE history will not change & Owen's part in Austin's career is vital because of his injury to Stone Cold.  Bret Hart & other members of the Hart family obviously are behind the idea of preserving Owen's legacy & having him in the Showcase mode helps educate newer fans on who he was & how his career shaped current day WWE.

thanks i really was just making a point and i'm so sick of people trying to say the rikishi driver is a sitout tombstone as it's not. and as the video 2kdev released today, rikishi has the same rikishi driver he had in WWE13 that's still in the game. as i said from the get-go

Just the fact WWE is working on an Owen Hart DVD kind of implies Martha must be willing to see Owen honored for his contributions to wrestling.  Which is good not only for WWE 2k16, but also for his DVD and a possible HOF induction that is long past due.  Sure there's a chance the speculation could be wrong, but if I was a betting man I'd say Owen will be in the game.

i was never a massive fan of Owen. i just didnt see it, back then I was a kid, bret was cooler. it'd be nice to see him honoured.
