I despised the formation of the NWO that had Bret, Jeff Jarrett, Hall, & Nash. If you look at it, that group consists of two original NWO members, a Ric Flair imatation, & a technical wrestler Canadian.  Not exactly a fearsome group especially with Hall having major alcohol problems around that same time.  Bret's WCW career up until then was fine except for WCW not really understanding how to use "The Hitman".  I still remember Bret's epic 1999 match with Chris Benoit dedicated to Owen.  Quite possibly the best WCW match he had during his whole time there.

yeah i hated that lol and yeah i loved the bret/benoit dedication match. that was quite possibly the best match period while he was there.  I've always said this and i always get people roasting me over it, but i said that after hogan lost the title (well JJ Took the title) after starrcade 97 the nWo should have just slowly disbanded.

It was cool that the NWO Wolfpack formed but instead of having the Nash/Hogan finger poke of doom, they should've had all NWO disbanded and focused on making new stars.  Building those new stars off the remnants of the NWO, ironic that what eventually put WCW out of business could've saved them if used to create new stars....

yeah so true. i just remember saying good lord sting needs a new gimmick (this was in late 99) then when the whole kidman/hogan thing took off i really thought this was gonna be hogan taking a back seat.. then he threw his tantrum at bash at the beach 2000. lol. i still remember reading the info on wrestlezone the night of that ppv (back when WZ actually reported actual news).  It said that hogan and russo were arguing over the finish to the match and he was doing his "i have creative control mumbo jumbo" then the incident happened lol

Bash at the beach 2000 was probably the best promo Russo ever delivered.  I'm a big Hogan fan, but a lot of what he said about Hogan's politicking backstage was true.  I think Hulk handed the baton to Kidman because he knew it'd light that mutha on fire, knowing that he couldn't carry the torch.  It's funny that Bischoff said on JBL's show on the network that Russo is a liar and that he & Hogan weren't in on it.  I think it was a worked shoot but Russo went far left of what the dynamic duo had in mind.  Still WCW could've thrived if only they had started pushing younger guys sooner.  Like exactly when Russo & Jarrett showed up, but alas "creative control" killed many opportunities to do so.

yeah even when bischoff returned to commentate i think that was all him shooting when he was saying he should have given people like riggs kidman and hammer a chance. this all happened during that flair/sting control of wcw match. speaking of that man i wish we could turn a suplex into a scorpion death drop lol

Based on the Create An Arena we are getting Austin Vs Steamboat at bash of the beach 94 and Austin Vs Pillman at Clash Of The Champions. I believe they were both wearing their Hollywood Blondes attire during this match!

Yes they were wearing that Hollywood outfit.

Lets just hope its not just a mod of 13 and that they actualy made a new model with new hair
