were they only doing 2 man commentary at that time? I didn't really start watching wwf or wcw till around 95 so i wouldn't know. by that time they had 3 people for the first half hour of nitro and schiavonne and zbysko for the 2nd half. 

but having Lawler/JR call the action for the wcw part is gonna feel kind of out of place.  I can spin having JR on since he did announce for WCW but Lawler? LOL. 

but it's really wishful thinking, i know about 2 years ago steve mcmichael was on twitter and he said that schiavonne really didn't like the sport he only did it cause it was his job. and even tony admitted that the day after the last nitro he was dressed up in a suit for a meeting and everyone asked why he was dressed up and he was like "oh i have a job interview" so yeah he didn't really care at all. it was all a paycheck to him which is a shame cause he was real good at what he did.

That might make sense but wasn't JR gone from WCW by 92-93? also it's cool man we both were in the same train of thought 

Just read his wiki page, he left WCW in 93. took a buyout cause he thought he'd not be able to find work elsewhere. His WWE Debut was Mania IX
