Slateboard Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Currently, you can only use Tag Finishers Offline and only if the two Wrestlers are in a Team together. In addition the actual Tag Moves are performed by whipping the opponent into the corner and pressing the finisher Button. This means that Online and in matches that don’t follow Tag Rules, you will not be able to perform the Tag Finishers. I think it’s a noticeable issue, given how frequently we see Tag Team Finishers outside of Normal Tag match scenarios (Outside of the ring included). So what would be a good solution to this? I think Short-Term would be making the Tag Finisher a Character-Specific Option, so you have a scenario where that Wrestler performs that Tag Finisher regardless of whether or not they’re teaming with their specific Tag Partner. This means that it can be used in Online Matches, as well as allow for the option to have a different finisher depending on who initiates it (Like how we don’t see Jeff Hardy performing a Twist of Fate into Matt’s Swanton Bomb). Long-Term would of course be a complete overhaul of how Tag Team moves are performed. While I don’t think the current system should be scrapped, I believe they should add a category to perform Tag Finishers from a Standing Position similar to Standing Tag Team Moves we already have. What would change is there would be a command to perform the Standing Tag Finisher provided the requirements are met, such as having enough Meter to perform it, etc. This would allow for more options for performing Tag Finishers, such as matches where the action takes place outside of the ring, or in non-Tag matches, like seeing someone get hit with a Double Team move in a Triple Threat/Fatal Fourway Match. Beyond this, I’d like to see it evolve into something based on Hot-Spots, where performing the move would require the Wrestlers to get into the actual position for it (Like being on the top rope for the Doomsday Device). I know the game is currently geared towards Pressing a button and having an entire sequence play out, but I don’t think being able to manually perform a Dudley Death Drop in a match would be a bad thing. King87 Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 I get what your saying and its pretty kool to a certain degree.....but online sucks for ps4/xb1 so until the basics is addressed and fixed having tagteam finishers can wait. Well at least that's what I think. Maybe in the future sure but now I just want a good stable online mode Quote
mrelectriccity Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 i aint sure, but i would like to see them add a create a tag team finisher. there's all kinds of cool tag team move combos i could come up with. Quote
Slateboard Posted September 24, 2015 Author Posted September 24, 2015 If they ever add the option to create new moves again, I'd like it to be different than it was before. Quote
King87 Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Only thing I really want for tag team finishers is for the position to be assigned. Example : if the move is a clothesline and flip leg drop I don't wanna see big show flipping and a smaller guy doing the clothesline. But far as I can tell tag finishers is a no go online seeing they are assigned to certain teams in your stables grid to certain superstars which may or may not be the same as the other person on your team. Only way I see possible is having tag teams to pick from online that are coded for online matches only. And tbh the tag division isn't deep enough to pull that off 1 Quote
Slateboard Posted September 24, 2015 Author Posted September 24, 2015 Which is why I wrote that the option should be to assign the moves to individuals instead of teams. Then you'd have the option to performing the moves online, as well as outside of the normal tag match scenario. Quote
Cerb Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Standing tag team moves already exist, which can be performed anywhere in the arena. Its not really a finisher, but if you damage your opponent enough and use your imagination you can possibly get the pin after the move. Quote
Slateboard Posted September 24, 2015 Author Posted September 24, 2015 But that's not the same as having an actual Finisher. Quote

Standing tag team moves already exist, which can be performed anywhere in the arena. Its not really a finisher, but if you damage your opponent enough and use your imagination you can possibly get the pin after the move.only problem with that unless it's changed is that grappling your opponent half the time your tag partner won't do anything to initiate the double team. and then there's the tag match problem where you used to be able to grapple and drag to your corner and your partner would grapple to do a double team tag move, now when you switch partners the ai partner just lets go. But you can also control the other person at anytime by pressing that huge touchpad thing on the PS4 controller, or the Xbone's version of it. I don't know the name, but the one that is not the start button or the home menu button. Quote
the King Lives Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 No that does not work. You end up switching into the legal man you just tagged into and the person you grappled and dragged with becomes the ai and it lets go before you can do anything Quote
