trh2 Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 Next year, I want to see refs get a little tlc. I'd love to see multiple refs that might differ a bit from one another. Have some that favour heels/faces more, or other traits of that nature. And I want to see ref bumps make a comeback and actually matter in the match. If the ref gets superkicked, he should be out of it for a long damn time. If possible, have another guy come in to count the fall. I want some drama in the matches. Give me something like Edge vs Taker at Mania 24. Add your own thoughts. Quote
The Nomodder Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 I like the idea of perhaps 3 different ref models, but the most important thing is to improve the AI of them in general. The reaction time between pin attempt and the ref starting the three count has to be decreased. He needs to stay down longer after being hit. Interactions with the ref, like Wade Barrett arguing in the one video after a two count should happen more often. Perhaps heels could hide behind them like in previous installments of the game. Just a few ideas. Quote
mrelectriccity Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 (edited) like to see them actually get the outside count more realistic a 10 sec count is really more like a 40 sec count on past games lol Edited September 22, 2015 by mrelectriccity Quote
fufu ÷ Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 I used to like the old throwing the referee mechanic in SVR 08. That worked pretty well, other than him being like a heat seeking missile for your opponent. At least they stayed down a reasonable time from that. Something like that, but less over the top would be pretty cool. Maybe incorporate it as an OMG move to balance it though, and have some kind of timer for when the ref wakes up. It's definitely possible to incorporate. Quote

I think it was all in the name of online. Infact alot of the stuff we used to be able to do gameplay wise was good till online got a huge presence. I'm not saying online is a waste cause i've never survive the rebuttal but every since we've had major online exploiters atleast since SVR11 that really limited what you could do offline. Even the whole Special Referee match type that came back in 13 was horribly done because you had to be "fair" lol like to see them actually get the outside count more realistic a 10 sec count is really more like a 40 sec count on past games lolwhat i hate is when you're in a tag match and sometimes your ai partner is in the ring and gets stuck trying to get out the ring, then the ref starts it's mandatory 5 count and at times it's count is so erratic i've seen him go.. "1....2....345" like WTF after he counts to 3 he's just like "oh well you not gonna listen so i'll just count faster" Quote
