The Voretex: Community Manager Comments

A few of us have suggested an idea where the feedback from our Community Manager, Bryan "Don't Google his surname, seriously!" Vore, is put together in one FAQ-like thread so that everyone can have quick access to points that are made without having to search for it. So here it is!



I'll use quotes for them so if anyone wants to get to that particular post within the thread, they can click the blue arrow icon that's next to the name. Here's what we've had so far, any new comments will get new posts.



On XBone pre-orders...

"When we travel to do scanning sessions we scan everyone that we can get into our scan booth. So, as you can see, scanning a SS or Diva is the least amount of work involved in getting someone into the game.

I still find it funny that they talk big game with their models and they're all still pretty shit. Considering the nba games, you'd think they'd be at least close to that level of detail.

I wouldn't use NBA2k models as a reference point.  They are plenty of inaccurate and outdated players in the game, every year.

WWE 2k15 had 114 models. 11 unplayable.16 duplicates. 87 overall.
NBA 2k15 had 424 unique models.

NBA games have fück-all work involved, attire-wise. It's basically just copy and paste for entire teams with very little variation in the jersey models between the different teams. Basically just switching the textures. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't follow those games

I still find it funny that they talk big game with their models and they're all still pretty shit. Considering the nba games, you'd think they'd be at least close to that level of detail.

well the problem is that the vc that works on WWEGames isn't the same team that works on NBA but they look good enough to me anyway. i'm not all crazy about graphics like alot of people are. as long as no one is booker t'd

yeah but i was talking about WWE12/WWE13 Caliber lol. Like when we saw that vince model in current gen 2k15 everyone was like he got Booker T'd they pretty much meant as in WWE13 Booker T model.

It'll be interesting to see if they even updated Vince's model and realized their faults. Recycling last year's material from WWE 2K16 Beta seems to be a key theme.

I think team size and licensing has a lot to do with it. In NBA games they have a much easier time getting rights to use people within the game. In WWE Games they have to agree on a contractual agreement with whoever isn't signed by WWE.
