I never expected anything more from last gen......it has run it's course....ps2 lasted much more compared to ps3...ps4 is just too damn advanced!!

That's a bit reaching it. Keep in mind I'm the angry man always looking for faults, but that could also be my lack of interest from last-gen. But, there are subtle improvements even if my eyes are deceiving me. The lack of a Community Creations feature is a shocker as it's the lifeblood of the series, but if they are exempting main features such as something like that, the price point should also be reflective of it at the starting MSRP of USD $40, and then a natural decline based on surplus.

I really have no judgements about last gen copy of the game seeing as I'm on next gen with no cares about 360 or ps3 lol. All I can say to the one's who have it is upgrade or find another game to buy instead of wwe series because it is officially over on that side

I thought the graphics look pretty good on last gen.  Granted they aren't much different from 2k15 maybe slightly better.  I'm pretty sure last gen will have CC, even the guy in the vid said he thought it was an error in the description.  I can't see them removing it since last gen will already be missing Career mode and the gameplay additions.  It's awesome news for last gen owners like me that the roster will be the same in all versions.  The roster and Austin mode alone would be worth the upgrade IMO.  Although if CC is removed, then they should only charge $39.99 for the game.  Something to reflect the lack of real focus on last gen vs current gen.

exactly why I said I have no judgements. If I wasn't on Xbox 1 I would have the 360 version and still play the hell out of it like I did 15 before I upgraded. I mean I still play the old titles on my phone so graphics really ain't shit its gameplay for me. Example nba live 16 looks awesome but the gameplay is trash while nba 2k don't look as polished but it plays better. The series for wwe has came a long way so I support them no matter I'm a wrestling game junkie and not ashamed to say it lol

Maybe the graphics are worn down cause of the space compression they used to get 123 models in? That's my guess.. But it's kinda disappointing to see. This should be the last time wwe is released on last gen.

I think the last gen won't be as bad as people are expecting it to be.  You have to expect focus is always on the new systems.  However, I'm happy with the impressive roster upgrade from 2k15 to 2k16.  Going from 60 to around 120 is twice the roster from one year to the next.  Couple that with the cool Austin showcase, and you have two great reasons for any diehard fan like me to get the game this year.  I would be disappointed if last gen lacked CC, but I'm taking that rumor with a grain of salt.  I mean, why include such great creation suites and online capabilities then remove CC?  Also, if last year is any indication, since last gen won't have a career mode, we'll probably get a new NXT mode.  Overall, 2k16 on last gen won't be as awesome as new gen, but I'm sure it will still be worth the upgrade.  Besides, a lot at this point remains unknown or speculation.  I say as long as 2k can cater to those who can't upgrade to the new systems, then getting to play the game every year is still great.

i would say that too but ppl still have last gen and still want a wwe game. However 2k effort should be alot more of what there giving. Stamina was put in the old day of reckoning games so for them to not be able for 2k15 and 16 for last gen puzzles my mind. I'm not a game developer but I really think if not all but most of the features next gen has besides the graphics can be put into the last gen versions

totally agree. I would of been pissed if I wasnt able to get a wwe game last yr for 360 before I upgraded lol. And tbh I enjoyed the game just as much as I do the next gen version. Some ppl just like to point out the bad because its easy to do acting like everyone wasn't just enjoying the game up until next gen smh

That is definitely a confusing part for me too.  They claim they can't put the new stamina and gameplay system into the last gen versions because of space/hardware issues.  The new chain grapple is very similar to past games, only with tweeks to improve it.  And as you pointed out, Day Of Reckoning on GameCube had a similar stamina system.  So did RAW on Xbox.  But we're expected to believe two consoles a generation higher can't pull off those gameplay upgrades because of space or hardware issues?  Now granted, I'm not a technical guy on knowing specs, but it seems like a faulty if not lazy excuse to bypass old systems.  I get pushing the new systems, but I've wondered why 2k supposedly can't get the new gameplay in the game.  Specifically since the gameplay updates makes this year's game the most realistic I've seen to date.  

If this year's game had the gameplay coupled with the roster and Austin showcase, it would be a perfect last game for last gen systems.  Kind of the No Mercy for last gen that we should get if indeed this is the last year on PS3/Xbox 360.

And last gen graphics for 2K16 aren't bad, they aren't good either.. but it's a SLIGHT improvement. Anyway, doesn't mean anything to me really.. as I'm current gen.

It was out for 2k15 on PS3 and 360.

I don't know what to think about the last gen version of 2k16, I hope that it will be better than 2k15, a real improvement and not a poor update.

I was afraid when I seen that in the game files, Cena's render is named "therock", which just means that they took the 2k14 sources and just edited some things. And killed a lot of functions.

But I'll wait and see, maybe it's going to be good.
