real hardcore title matches?

since the game focuses a lot during the attitude era, it would be cool if they implemented the hardcore title and real hardcore title rules any place any time. now this would be mainly for a career or universe mode. were u have the option to go after the title, you'll have a bunch of backstage options to attack champ to try and steal belt and even interfere during their matches. or if ur champ u have to constantly be on guard from attacks. 

 

u could also use this in exhibition mode by just having it any where pin but would be better and more  cool if they allowed you to continue walking through backstage. which i dont get would be so hard to do, take a lil more work making the extra scenery backstage. they could do it authentically by recording the backstage area following them around from arena to arena till u got them all done. or do one and then make a few changes to them for different arenas.  so that way when  u walk toward the entrance area the camera automatically changes behind them and follows them on back. or take a sec or 2 to load up before changing to backstage area. and say you playing the computer right and one of ya friends come over wanting to play.they can jump into the action by hittin start and the game will pause and a menu shows up on the right like a snap app were they can choose they wrestler and after they choose the game resumes and they come running out to try and take the title from you or the champ if your challenging for it.

I don't understand since Austin mode has nothing to do with hardcore matches. He never challenged nor helped anyone lose or win the title so yeah i don't really see that happening.  Alot of people seem to hate these nostalgic story modes but see that's just one point you just brought up.  If we didn't have the story mode of 13 we wouldn't have gotten I Quit Back, and the list goes on.  I'd love free roam, crowd and backstage fighting as well as 24/7 Rules hardcore title matches but somehow i just don't see it happening lol

i've been wanting true falls count anywhere backstage/free roam matches ever since they added the WCW Hardcore title in the game. I really want it now since Haku is in the game and i can do the Meng vs Barbarian vs Norman Smiley triple threat feud lol

i liked it up till bischoff kept hiring 5 million people to knock off terry funk lol. I had no problem with the Reno/Vito feud, the Vito/Goldberg feud (alot of those were hardcore instigated matches) but yeah you're right, they were way too late by that time but it did sound well on paper. The problem was that they were having hardcore matches way before they implemented a title, i mean Goldberg Jackhammering Midajah through a table, jackhammering hogan thru an announce table, kanyon going off the side of the triple tier cage, by that time they were trying too hard to copy wwf stuff. Trust me i loved wcw till the end but yeah when russo showed up i could tell he was just trying to repeat what he scripted for WWF/E up till he left. and didn't get that the reason why a vast majority tuned into wcw was because it was a bit more traditional than the fight anywhere type stuff that was going on. True it got WWE/F more ratings but i also blame that on the gimmick matches and the Fingerpoke of doom and flair, nash, jarrett passing the world title to each other every week in late 2000. before steiner got it LOL
