both of their movesets are inaccurate.

well don't look at me lol i was hardly able to watch the video. the guy playing was beyond dreadful lol. And i haven't seen enough of Balor or Owens to know exactly how their moves should be lol. i guess i'll be downloading movesets for both of them from you. or checking out your videos lol

Thanks man, some pros and cons to be sure...

Pros ...

More aggressive AI (Kevin Owens)

Match pacing is great with the reversal limits

Kick out at the end was great

Stamina looks less crippling

Cons...

AI doesn't go for a pin

Stupid going outside for the table in every match is still there

The animations near the ropes are glitchy and causes the wrestlers to slide

Hopefully theyll sort these issues before release

Pretty annoying they couldn't remove the command string which forces the AI to search for tables. Tables are a rare commodity in WWE. (Not so now because of The Dudleys), It's very contradictory to the type of match style they're really trying to emulate in these games.

Finn Balor VS Kevin Owens
- The counters look a lot more fluid
- NEW comeback for Finn Balor
- 2 NEW Taunts for Finn Balor
- NEW Sling Blade for Finn Balor
- The replays after finishers looks good
- "Pull opponent to the centre" still performed frequently
- Few bugs.
- NEW Slingshot somersault senton. Good, can apply to Luke Harper's moveset!
- Coup De Grace looks great! Owens able to avoid that move twice.. Hits it the 3rd time! Sweet!
- JBL's hat got thrown away when Owens removes the top of announcer table. LOL!
- 2 NEW Bloody Sundays for Finn Balor
- The ref screws Owens... Owens able to hold the rope at 2-counts... but the ref still counts for 3!

Is there any way to watch the replay or is this video posted anywhere else?

looks pretty good, i liked the rope break part at the end. maybe it was due to the match pace but it looked like they had a lot more stamina than matches from last years game

Good find on the video. It was nice to see a full match. As far as the table thing goes, all you need to do is remove that omg moment from that wrestler and the AI stops doing it. They seem to have programmed the AI to prioritize OMG moments over finishers. In 2k15 to get AI vs AI sim matches to work right I had to take away nearly every OMG move. It kinda defeats the purpose of putting them in the game. They are cool but they should be done sparingly, not every single match.

So many cool new moves...

Both the bloody sunday moves moves looks good, really digging the inverted version...

Hey guys just got finished with some time with the game. Take this for what it is as I only got 2 matches in before I had to move on.

Played my first match as Balor against Lesnar. The general feeling was really positive reversals are well managed, whilst the timing seems to be the same as last year the limited amount available makes you consider when to use them; for example I would save mine more so for grapples and let Brock kick and stomp most of the time. Balor's moveset is actually pretty decent but he does lack running dives etc. which seems a little off as he regularly hits a rope flip.

Second match I played as KO against Rollins. First time using the submission mechanic in this match and it worked well for the most part with the person applying the submission "chasing" the opponent. There was also a boost that the person chasing could use for a temporary advantage.

the pin mechanic was actually good and I much preferred it to last years.

all of the new animations look on point particularly Balor's but he did mo cap so that is to be expected.

Sadly as it was the GC build nothing in the way of creation modes were available. If anyone has any questions I will try to answer, just remember my time with the game was really brief! :)

yeah i actually plan on doing what i did in 15: removing everyone's table, barricade, apron ddt, and ringpost big boot omg moves off of everyone except for ppv matches. i hardly have the catch finishers on either cause the ai will get into a loop of whipping you to the ropes, ducking, hopping, ducking again until you fall out of the ring lol so yeah i hoped they would fix this also i hope we can edit alternate attires this year because if we can't alot of people will be pissed about not being able to edit balor's demon attire or everytime balor appeared in a cutscene he'd show up in his non-demon attire. i could really see the backlash with that lol

that's cool man is that from the gamestop expo here in vegas?i initially was going to go but some stuff came up and i ended up missing it lol i actually prefer the new pin system as well since you don't have to hold the button just press where it says X/A so that's cool

Big thanks for the information! Glad to see the new Pin mechanic is looking nice and better than last year's bar. I hated how it was too fast and slippery.

Looking at the gameplay video from above, the game looks much more smooth and faster than 2K15. Can you confirm if it does feel somewhat faster?

I am also amazed that KO has his new trons! Kudos 2K!

Also, am I the only one that notices that the whole ring and ring area is now bigger than last year's game? I did comparison and it surely does look like it does. I think that it is great as it did bug me that everyone looked like giants in the small 2K15 ring.

Haha no I'm from the UK I'm currently at the GAME store managers conference over here. The game feels a bit more fluid but I wouldn't say faster as such. The ringside area feels larger and is much better lit. Especially the ramp area.

oh that's cool. if you were here i woulda said let's go have a drink and go gambling! Lol. but yeah i'm thinking that pin system is gonna be great. to hear you say you enjoyed the submission system gives me hope i was apprehensive about it to be honest because it looked so confusing but i kinda look at it as a better version of that Struggle sub system we had from 08 -11.  Well that's pretty cool man this game can't come soon enough. now i get why you didn't do much uploading for 14 (well i only saw collabs and not your stuff in 2k14) being a store manager that's alot of hours lol. I miss your jericho caws (from the RA era of course) But yeah after seeing that triple threat match that 2k dev uploaded that match was awesome! lol
