What are you most excited or like to to see on Austin's showcase?

I'm hoping that based on the Owen Hart DVD/Bluray that's due out, he'll be in the game. Now is the best time to put him in, surely?

Are attires all people care about this day and age? If the story is accurate I don't see the problem

it's a detail that takes you outta the atmosphere of reliving the moment. What's the point of going through a simulation if primary details are left out. When they get it all right it's soo sweet, when they just ignore a outfit it seems sloppy. Especially when they get soo much right as is.

I personally noticed & disliked when they screwed up outfits. & it's one thing if it's a limitations issue & it's another thing where you got a superstar with 10 accurate attires(John Cena 2k14) & another with no accurate attires & a sloppy done superstar heads & threads attire(CM Punk 2k14) that shouldn't exist in the same game. Playing certain matches in 30 years of wm completely threw me off because they skipped attires(hbk vs diesel, punk vs jericho, edge vs jericho) on some matches & got them perfect in others(look at wm16's match).

well i mostly meant like how people go crazy over attires. i get where you're coming from but i guess i don't really get that crazy about it since i just make my own. but for story mode purposes i guess i understand where you're coming from

I agree it was the same general concept, bu tthe Attitude Era mode covered more than 1 rivalry, whereas the showcases we've had so far covered specific rivalries. However, I believe calling it Austin's Showcase is acceptable as it sounds better than "mode", and it's supposed to "showcase" his career.

Regardless of what they decide to moniker it, the yearly story modes dedicated to wwe history(Be it The Attitude era mode of wwe 13, 30 years of Wrestlemania mode of 2k14, the showcases of 2k15, or the upcoming austin mode of 2k16). That was my primary draw. That's what brought me back from giving up on the Smackdown vs Raw series back in 08.

yeah that's true. the only way i'm differentiating from the 2 (atleast for now) is because it seems like 2k was testing the waters with their 2k showcase mode plan last year, and the fact alot of people didn't like paying separate of the pass for dlc they may have picked up on that and decided to just do one mode period. Only time will really tell if when they announce the DLC plans whether or not there will be dlc showcases or if that was just a one time deal. I for one would prefer the superstars moves etc over the showcases but that's just me.  I did enjoy them however but even if it gets us titantrons, a music pack and a moves pack, I'm all for them bypassing dlc stories for this year lol.

yeah i liked the stories, don't get me wrong, i will always be a universe mode guy, but the stories were always done well atleast to me from say WWE13 onward. the only problem i really had with 13 was the 1 count glitch lol

yeah truly. i still think that last year 2k just didn't know what they were doing in terms of marketing cause if you look at 15's marketing and now at 16's it's like someone woke up lol Like the undertaker appeared and said "i'll tombstone every one of you if you don't market this game properly" lol

I feel the same way. Like 99% of me says no way it's gonna happen. But there's that 1% that thinks it's gonna happen & they're not announcing it to keep Martha from running a campaign to try to get game cancelled because of his involvement. 

I think with the CM Punk legal battle over 2k15 wwe may know what will happen if things will go sour with including Owen against Martha's wishes & could put him in anyways. But this is all my personal speculative theory.
