Perfectplex Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Hi folks, this is my first post and sadly it has to be a request for help rather than a contribution (that will come later )I have recently purchased both xpacker and xrey and downloaded other tools like PACTool and Anatomizer, I use Blender (can't afford 3ds) and Gimp, Paint dot net and of course Visual Studio.OK, with that out of the way onto the problem, I have been toying about getting to grips with how to use the tools and been having moderate success, I decided I wanted to just try what I thought would be a simple task of removing the clothing from John Cena "wait....you want to see Cena in his undercrackers?" no, not really but he was just a character I was practicing modding on (updating his attire to his 15x attire). All was going well, I reduced the visibility of his models down to his basics (no clothing) and even made a texture archive from scratch just to delete the unneeded textures, however I hit a problem, there were still masking issues, I contacted Tekken57 who was very helpful and gave me some advice and told me the masking is within the 00CA file and that there is 00CA file within the Goldberg mod which uses no masking so to consider using that, I downloaded the Goldberg mod and saw there are 4 attire slots, one by one I uncompressed their 00CA files and put them into the Cena pach and the pach back into the pac but all 4 tests proved to be unsuccessful too.So, what am I missing here? How do I get access to the masks so I can start to remove clothing, how do I view them, I tried texture archive and looking for dds using Hexedit but all I could find was reference words like "yM_Trapezius_L".Notice in the Image how Batista is only in his undies, well both he and Daniel Bryan have this strange option (maybe other characters too?) where if you choose the 2nd attire (10 attires unlocked) even though they dont have alt attires it will bring them out with no attire on at all, which is what I was manually aiming for with Cena so I can then concentrate on adding attire which I am assuming will require me to have knowledge of how to mask too anyway.I would really appreciate some help here please. deadjulian Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 1. Uncompress the 00CE file, open it in a Hex Editor.2. Zero everything out exept for the first row. 3. Save it and inject back into the Pach file. Quote
Perfectplex Posted August 26, 2015 Author Posted August 26, 2015 Hmm, What did I do wrong?Appreciate the help btw Quote

Perfectplex Posted August 26, 2015 Author Posted August 26, 2015 ..........ah........I'll try the right file this time I guess OOCA is something to do with the muscles because it has names of muscles in there. Quote
Perfectplex Posted August 26, 2015 Author Posted August 26, 2015 Thanks for the help, I hope somebody comes up with a masking tool for adding and removing masks (could have a library of the masks within the tool to inject directly into the 00CE file). For now I would imagine to remove certain masks would mean finding that portion within the hex code and to add would involve copying the hex code from another mask file with the right mask part and copying that chunk of code and pasting it into the one you are working on, a tool as I mentioned above to do that would be very useful.Again, thank you.Behold, Cena in his undies.
