Marcus leaving because of that seems pretty dumb IMO I think maybe he lied to u bro 2k probably just fired him for whatever reason they had. He's been with the series to long for that to be the reason idk but it just seems like its more to the story. On topic tho the updates to the gameplay I'm liking alot. Its going in the direction of really having to wrestle in a match which I'm big on and glad to see it.

Marcus left because his wife is pregnant and in order to stay with 2k they wanted him to move to CA and he wants to raise his child in Ohio where he grew up.  It had nothing to do with anything else than his life is changing and he wants to settle down.
