"Attitude Era" The Rock Entrance

Hey guys,

@CenzTom was meant to be helping import the old entrance animations into WWE 2K15. Since it seems his project is dead, I'd like to know if anyone has made advancements in the entrances. From his thread, we found out the camera angles, but not the motion. The motions in 2K14 uses the EVP format, whereas the ones in 2K15 uses EVP2. I know that @El Buvor was trying to help, but had no success. Loading up Entrance03.pac (from 2K14) and Entrance00.pac (from 2K15) in X-Packer reveal they still use the BPE format for the entrance motion, it seems. Should it not be as easy as renaming the files (in this case 344) and renaming it to 100?

EVZ is the Entrance motion!! EVP has the superstar name in it which is the camera angles. It always has been since the svr series. Anything with EVP in it is pyro etc. which includes camera angles. Ive been busy with studies so i havent been active in 2k15 modding and  have been modding svr when i get time

Interesting. Where is the EVZ file?

Same place but u need to export it using Xpacker. If u open entrance01.pac in xpacker for example after all the evp ids there r the evz ids

Are those the ones that start with 10 (10100, for example)?

Nope. Just in Xpacker open up the entrane01.pac or whatever and then scroll and there is a section which EVZ's r

OK, so now the game doesn't crash, but the camera angles are glitched and Rock is frozen static in the ring. This was after doing the EVZ file swap. Do I need to do the EVP as well?

I havent tried the EVP yet. Ive been sick so u may have to try the EVP too and tell me how it goes

I've tried, and it crashes the game.

So that means the format is different. Could u show me screenshots when the evz is imported.

Before I show you, am I right in thinking I need to inject the EVZ and EVP files with X-Packer? Also, I may need a new Entrance00.pac file to work with, as well.

go on my WWE 2K14 PS3 Entrances in WWE 2K15 PC topic. I have uploaded backup files. Id say that u do it with xpacker. Ive tried many theories once before. My svredit theory didnt work and i have done xpacker which didnt work either  i have not tried manual hex editing tho

How did you do Ambrose then?

I think at the time i had another way. The problem was i had the tut on my laptop but it had a harddrive failure

Ah. It seems that in your thread, you used Eri's SVR mod to get Ambrose's entrance modded. What did you modify to get his entrance working? Do you still have the hard drive?

So, looking at the files for your 2K14-2K15, and the original 2K14 reveals they're the same! Is it just because they have the same CH number? I could see if Rock's WWE '13 entrance could work if someone gives me the file.

EDIT: I just tried replacing Cena's 2K15 to his 2K14 entrance. All it did was show his intro. Then it skipped
