By far and away the most varied and diverse roster from a WWE game yet, very impressive.  Now let's hope the caw mode is vastly improved and we have a winner.

And as a side note, just reading through this thread...the amount of shit that gets spouted prior to a game being released and the abuse that accompanies it is just ridiculous.

Bottom line is in a few months this game will be old news and no-one will give 2 shits about who coulda/shoulda/woulda been in it, everyone will either be too busy either enjoying the various aspects of the game, dissing the servers or playing something else entirely.   This isn't an attack on any one individual, just an observation/bug bear in general.

I couldn't agree more! The tone in these forums is worrying and I can only hope it will get better. 

But nonetheless I'm not only looking forward to this game, but also to being  more active around here, as I used to really like this place!

There'll always be complainers REGARDLESS of who's in/isn't in the game.. and doesn't matter who 2K put's in, there's just no satisfying SOME people. This year has a HUGE freekin' roster, and I for one am pleased. Sure, I'd have liked a few more into the game.. but that's what CAWs are for - guys/gals who weren't able to be added. And since we have 100 slots again? I'll just make the ones who didn't get into the game. Simple as that.

The roster on this game is incredible. Not to mention the arenas that seem to be available to us: old school raw, old ECW, etc. This alone makes the game more intriguing. With all the effort that seems to have gone into this game, I'm betting the DLC will be awesome.

This cant be the full roster, by my count there are 9 duplicates in there out of a roster of 123.

123 - 9 = 114

They said originally 120+ not counting duplicates so there must be a few left to announce. Yeah?

Why Have Nash & Billy Gunn without Hall & Road Dogg. Kevin Nash never faced Stone Cold one on one, But Hall did. & Having One Half of the New Age Outlaws is silly. Of all the people we can nitpick, I think those two are the most glaring omissions. A lot of people are saying this is the best roster ever, I'mma wait for the DLC before I make that decision. Because IMO 2k14 was the best roster ever. At this point this roster is missing Hulk Hogan(regardless of his scandal that's a huge loss), Goldberg, Scott Hall, Road Dogg, Yokozuna, Sid, Roddy Piper, LOD, Demolition, Eddie & the Dudleys. & those are at least the ones they can legally get on the game. I dont believe Mikey Whipwreck deserves a spot over any one of those big names regardless of ECW sentiments. Let's not forget the Big names they can't even touch in CM Punk, Owen Hart, Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio, Alberto Del Rio & The Hardys. IMO this roster is a notch below 2k14 but better than 2k15.

 

At this point I'm hoping they'll at least have Mike Tyson as a NPC so they don't skip WM14 on Austin's showcase.

hot damn you're right!! My guess is they will not be announced but kept secret until the game release to actually have hidden surprises for fans to unlock. Or not idk but it would nice to have a few hidden characters like the old days

I was also counting Cactus, Dude Love and Paul Wight but Adm King's post says they dont count.

I really like the models of Natalya and Eva Marie. They did a fine job on both of them. 

Anyone else notice, that there are only 3 reversal spots for these 2? I wonder if thats the case for all the ladies, or just them.

You're right on money with that Rooster. I knew I'd have to revisit the post which started it all because we'd all have to face the bullshit come this time. They've pulled the wool from under our eyes yet again trying to goad and insult our intelligence. Although technically, 2K15 has undoubtedly "the largest roster ever" before DLC, it certainly DOES NOT reach the "120 unique models" mark which was the original marketing ploy they were using.

You can try to beat around the bush and come out with statements which try to discredit your initial wording, but your initial wording still stands. There's no sugarcoating it whatsoever. Either this week didn't mark the finale of this "roster reveal" or this is a classic case of bait and switch false advertisement and schemed shenanigans. Unless there is a separate mold to work from, I am willing to bet the same Undertaker model was used as base for all the rest, and the same would go for Stephanie or Sting, thereby technically qualifying them to be classified as "repeats" no matter how you want to redefine a word.
