So I just had an idea! Is it possible to modify the announcer (found in Game_Sound_M.pck) by using the 2K14 method (which was replacing theme files), by any chance? It would be nice to know!

Yes, it is possible. I've started some short tests with my SoundInjector tool and the method is exactly the same. You only need to find out the ids for all the announcer call names...

For example, Santino Marella is 1069351843 ;). And call names are separated from locations...

are you planning to do a tool for this?

I've had some plans to add this to my Sound Injector tool, yes. But I haven't had the time to check all sound files for the call names / file-ids... The Game_Sound_M file is huge and has so many (also unused) small sound files in it, like commentary sound, announcer and so on.. It's really time consuming to hear them all and separate / find the corresponding ids. So that's the reason why it isn't in right now. If someone has the time to hear and write down all the ids, please let me know.

You will need "RavioliGameTools 2.8" in order to hear and extract files from Game_Sound_M.pck. File name of each .wwise file is the id that I need.

You can possibly ask Pozzum for edit access to his spreadsheet. He has some of the ids in the section already including some from the "Who Got NXT?" mode.

EDIT: I just tried modding Santino's announcer file to Fink's 2K14 The Rock, but it stayed EXACTLY the same. Could you help?

We could also potentially add the announcer and commentary names for people from older games that we are adding in as DLC this year

Adding is currently impossible, we don't know how the game find and loads the announcer/commentary/themes files. We have the same problem with the renders (only on pc, it works on PS360).

Is there any way to change the announced names for community DLC wrestlers? I hate it that Finn Balor is announced as Chris Jericho all the time

My only guess would be to replace the Chris Jericho sound file for Finn Bálor. The only issue, is that I don't know if there are duplicate entries for Jericho (Retro) and modern Jericho.
