Overwrite Del Rio '11? Jeff Hardy probs.

I'm trying to overwrite Alberto Del Rio '11 with Jeff Hardy. It's not working. I have Jeff Hardy in the game (as slot ch111.pac) but if I change the pac file to 412 (del rio's slot) and edit the hex to change 111 to 412, I can't seem to get it to work. I fought with Goldberg over Batista retro for a long time, then it worked after I saved my wrestler info in game. 

Here's what I've done. 

Downloaded the Jeff Hardy files, pac, pofo, and moveset.

Changed their filenames to 412 instead of 111.

Edited the pac file and changed the 111's to 412's.

Injected the moveset file and pofo files via xpacker 10. saved to memory and saved rosters.

Del Rio's name has been changed to Jeff Hardy, his character render on the wrestler select screen is Jeff Hardy, but it's still Del Rio '11 in the game. 

I fee like I've tried everything. Thoughts?

What's odd is that I've installed Jeff Hardy before (as slot 111) and he works fine, but I want to replace del rio with him, and I'm not having any luck. So far, I've been able to replace retro jericho, retro batista, and retro shawn michaels.
