The WrestleDude Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 (edited) So once WWE 2K16 comes out Im still going to play it one PS3 so I can do my YouTube universe mode and have it to where I can use 2k14 story creator cutscenes to make it look real but I want to know who else will be playing on PS3 because I want to start an online series for my channel and I need a list of everyone who is going to join, the series will start probably in late november so who's in? If they keep that feature out & I see no massive improvement in the roster & showcases then I'm not going get it. I was soo disappointed in 2k15. Sting & Bray Wyatt are it's only real high points. I'm legitimately going back and forth whether I'll get this game or not. No create-a-story is a big strike on the game, No Hogan is another strike, the Legends roster & showcases modes are what's gonna literally make or break this game for me. Not only do I wanna see a good full roster like 2k14(which IMO was like 10 slots away from close to perfect) but I wanna see some good ones we haven't seen in last gen like Piper. & I hope they have a few bombshell surprises in the game that'll blow me away. I know one thing, the Terminator being dlc doesn't do it for me. I instantly though of Robocop in WCW. I hope they don't include any other celebrity characters unless they've actually worked a match before(Tyson, Mayweather, Ali, Rodman, Mr T, Malone, Holyfield, etc) Edited August 8, 2015 by rj10018576 Quote

But the T-800 in a WWE game is a pretty weak gimmick. It's like those novelty CAWS of spiderman & Wolverine etc. It's fun for one play, but eventually it looses it luster because this is a WWE game. Story Designer had to be removed it had way too many issues to fix. i talked to marcus about this issue and he said that they decided to remove it/and not add it into current gen 2k15 because it had too many legacy issues. It took them about 5 years to design/implement the mode before it made it in 2010. i'm sure it will return maybe by 2k18 but they may have some small version in 2k17. But i'd prefer it to be out then have it in and it be just as annoying with glitches freezes etc as it was before. This is why CAA and CAC had to be taken out of current gen cause the logo stretch issue, and the name announcing. I get why people really want these modes etc back in. i do too but it's going to take time... WWEGames wasn't built in a day. but trust me on this you will be excited. especially if you're a fan of 90s wrestling and NXT. Quote

Like universe mode for example, you cant have a universe mode in the golden era, there are no PPV's supporting that, you could have regular wwe shows and skip the PPV's, and also MyCareer mode, that thing does not include any legends at all. I really want to hear what you legends-fans actually do when you play the game. Not trying to offend anyone im just really curios. Quote

Everyone has their own prefs and yes ran a wcw wwf and ecw universe in wwe12 13 and 2k14and yes I agree current and nxt roster should come first but the legends are incentives to people who have walked away from wrestling around say 2012. But tbh a wwe game without any legends is not worth buying. A lot of youngins complain about the greats who really pushed the company to the front need to do their homework and see why legends get included. My era of wrestling was the best simply because of competition also just all around great wrestlers and storylines. If its not a lot of legends in 16 kool but they better have enough parts in CAS to make all the greats Quote

Honestly I grew up playing the wwe games so I know we will never get the roster I truly want I'm 27 so my favs are what the kids call taking up space for the new guys. I buy the game because I'm a fan of the game more than I am of the product their pushing on TV so a good creation mode is very necessary lol I need the Benoit's, al snow, raven, angle, etc. 13 was dope AF to me cus it felt like I was playing no mercy with better graphics on a newer system. On topic tho last gen is done for current gen is in full motion upgrade or deal with the half ass game 2k is going to give cus it will not get better. Like u said glad I'm on current gen Quote

They had a shot in the arm in new talent with Punk, Bryan, Wyatt & the Shield. But look where they're at now, Punk's Gone for good, Bryan's damn near retired, The Shield is barely holding on to my interest, Bray Wyatt has moments of brilliance & then moments of stagnation. NXT is nice but I think they should primarily be DLC, save for the ones appearing weekly on the main roster. Honestly I think 2k should run 3 yearly games. One for NXT, one for The Main Roster, & one for legends. & have some form of option where you can import rosters from the other games via dlc.Or just have on disc be current roster & have a massive dlc pack for legends & a massive dlc pack for NXT.Thay way all fans will be served equally & properly. Because for every legends fan there's a current fan & a NXT fan.Because a guy like me could care less for a Adrian Neville or a Stardust, but would love a 1-2-3 Kid or a Jim Neidhart. & there's someone out there who feels the exact opposite. Why does there have to be a winner & a loser. It's a tug of war when we're both equally wwe fans. Quote

Like u said glad I'm on current genmy best friend and i took WCW/nWo world tour, revenge, vs the world and nitro and used those games to recreate the wcw story from 96 - 98. of course we had to improvise but the stuff we did was pretty awesome back then lol. We were actually looking to doing an animated web wrestling show but unfortunately had to can it because of lack of voice talent and artists.. it happens.. but i guess that's why i do alot of retro/ original stories now lol Quote
