bluemonkeymagic Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Exactly my thoughts! We should be seeing lots of gameplay by now. How on earth are we meant to get excited enough to pre order the game with stuff like this? Quote
seanironmaiden Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 This is the type of thing they should be showing us like, 2 years before a game comes out... Quote

the King Lives Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 A cloth simulatution work in progress three months out from going gold. These idiots have fucked up again apparently you didn't look at the early trailers of 2k15 in August last year when it had wip at the bottom of the screen, indicating it was recorded months ago. Why you think they just magically recorded the stuff now is laughable. This video was probably recorded in may. Not to me tion they are in the bug testing phase of development. Quote

The game that was delayed? The game that was obviously still unfinished even when it was released? If you don't have more than a cloth simulation to show with four months to release, then you don't have anything worthwhile to show at all. 2K15 wasn't any different from the trailers they showed in August anyway, if it was a work in progres then work stopped after they released the trailer. I'm just calling it, this game will suck as much as 2K15...but with a larger roster. Quote
Sunny Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 Which is a shame as everyone insinuated this would be 2K's go home year. I understand you can only go as far with annual releases with the time constraints you're faced with, but it's no excuse as 2K have experience with annual releases, and they have a decent track record with their basketball franchise. When comparing SvR 2007 (a next-gen first platform title in its own right) to WWE 2K15, it's a day and night difference. If SvR 2008 (the highest selling annual WWE game of all time, and arguably the worst in the series) outshines WWE 2K16, it will be downright embarassing. This just goes back to the passion about the process, and if things are moving at a snail's pace four months before the game goes gold, it's inexcusable. The heart isn't there. There is no sense of progression to better the game as a yearly title. E3 has passed and although we were promised a "WWE 2K16 booth," we have yet to see any gameplay footage or images. "Oh no, rest assured we've got 120 guys and gals! Austin 3:16 everyone! Attitude! Hell yeah! Sumbitches and Stunners everyone!" Relegating and crawling back to the Attitude Era concept after it's still fresh in everyone's minds from two years ago (WWE '13) is a cheap tactic in of itself and fraudulent consumer practices. Hook, line, and sinker. This isn't 2K Games' first dance to the rodeo so the pressure is definitely on them as expectations are high, but you can clearly see the imbalance of power and miscommunication from management to marketing is carried over from last year. This is evident in this example. Yet again, this game will be far from finished as "coding errors" will be their excuse. It's too early to tell what excess DLC they'll shove down our throats but, it will definitely be Attitude Era related so they are recompensed for laziness which is an unfair trade-off. At the rate they're going, it will be until WWE 2K20, that we see something remotely close to groundbreaking in this franchise, but for the time being, its doors are closed and there are no greener pastures in sight. For Brotch:Keine Leidenschaft. I am not attacking you, because i was very over critical at first but after a while since i knew i couldn't return it (i bought digital) i started really playing it and started enjoying it. My videos have custom themes thanks to sharefactory, and alot of the shows make sense without me having to change alot of the booking. but i guess it's all a matter of opinion and i'll just leave it at that.Which is a shame as everyone insinuated this would be 2K's go home year. Alot of 2k15's downfall went from the PR not coming out and admitting what we somewhat already knew.. that 2k15 was going to be stripped to the core, no custom themes, and that none of the patches would really help post launch. 5 patches later, still can't get long haired triple h to appear in cutscenes simply cause you can't edit that model to make it separate. and tag ai and ai grappling is still somewhat broken. but like i said to jitz, it was a nice try from a standard standpoint and some things like Reigns accidentally spearing seth rollins in a tag match and losing the titles was cool as well as Ryback turning face out of nowhere. So yeah There were things i hated, but also alot of things i liked about 15. I'm just hoping and praying to God that they actually listened to more places than just their own forums cause those people really have nothing to offer at times but an argument of either online needing to be the focus, my career needing to be the focus, or how they hate triple models.so hopefully this time they do something that just pleases everyone. Tall order i know but we'll see.. when does IGN Last start? LOL Quote
jitz Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 I think next years game will have a new engine, dropping last gen consoles in the process. I think that's where all of 2K efforts have been going, 15 and 16 were just stopgaps. Quote

bluemonkeymagic Posted July 14, 2015 Posted July 14, 2015 How can 2k15 be classed as fun, when the cpu is puts you in a fucking armbar for the submission you're powerless to stop...you can't even turn the things off this year. Quote
Gold Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 I've got to admit it's so anti-climatic when the CPU puts you in a regular box standard submission to finish a really good match, which as said you can't stop at all, this above all needs to be fixed, this has been a problem since, forever? Quote
seanironmaiden Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Something similar to No Mercy, where you literally couldn't tap out in a match until you were on your last legs, stamina / momentum-wise would be good Quote
the King Lives Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 I've got to admit it's so anti-climatic when the CPU puts you in a regular box standard submission to finish a really good match, which as said you can't stop at all, this above all needs to be fixed, this has been a problem since, forever?it wasn't a huge blow in 14 cause atleast if you hadn't used resiliency you had a 50/50 chance to escape it but yeah. I think they should make it to where if you have a finisher you can press Y to automatically reverse a submission kinda like in the rumble if you have a finisher and are in danger of being eliminating you can press i think it's L1 or R1 to escape. except with submissions if you escape you're rewarded with 75% Momentum. Of course i'm speaking of offline cause i know the online people would have a problem with that I think next years game will have a new engine, dropping last gen consoles in the process. I think that's where all of 2K efforts have been going, 15 and 16 were just stopgaps.Didn't they say somewhere a while back they were dropping support for last gen after 2k16?that as king moe's bullshitHow can 2k15 be classed as fun, when the cpu is puts you in a fucking armbar for the submission you're powerless to stop...you can't even turn the things off this year. what do you mean you can't turn things off? you can turn off stamina (well reduce it) and you can turn off Chain grappling. Look i ain't saying 2k15 was the holy grail of wrestling games cause apparently it wasn't, but I've been having alot of fun with it. i guess i just had to force myself but i have. I'm not eve a current product fan so the most i've bee doing is just replaying the 2013 year in universe. Are there some things that annoy me? hell yeah! but i won't let that ruin the overall experience. Like i said i am having fun with it but it's clear as day that 2k14 was alot more fun. I think next years game will have a new engine, dropping last gen consoles in the process. I think that's where all of 2K efforts have been going, 15 and 16 were just stopgaps.sounds legit.. i'm actually okay with it being solely on current gen. Someone tweeted wwegames asking why it wasn't for the Wii-U and i'm like. that's not even last gen as far as i'm concerned. at this point it really just needs to be on PS4/X1 and PC. that's it. and yeah i think 15 and 16 are just placeholder games as well.
