Removing names during online play?

Curious if it would be possible, through modding, to remove or otherwise make hidden, the names that appear above a superstar's head during online play.

I, admittedly, haven't done any looking in to how to mod this game, so I am completely unfamiliar with what types of things are/are not possible, I am just wondering if anyone thinks it could be done, and wishes to attempt to make it so.

I know, somewhat bad form to make an account and have a single post, just making a request. Up to this point, I didn't really have much information to contribute to the forum, so I figured jumping in would be mostly pointless.

Interesting request that would be interesting to know for me as well, did you have a specific use for it or just a simple request?

I am interested in recording matches. I find the names above heads very distracting, and would like a way to remove them.

I feel like the icons used to navigate in the menus are straightforward enough that, even if the entire font were to be made invisible for all things, it would still be useable.

@beastedot9 there's a lot of online related strings in 0009 perhaps clearing some of them out would break the game fetching and displaying the players names above the heads.  I think that might be the easiest way to create this "mod"

If I understand correctly, the idea here is to remove the names from the top of the superstars? I see a few dummy_texts in there so maybe clearing those will do this.

No luck unfortunately. I'll take a look at the online pac files that are in the menu section and see what I can find there.
