Here is a new Video tutorial going over @Red Rooster 's Attire unlock and naming tutorial.

This also has a basic tutorial for making pofo files & Moveset Files with Cheat Engine. @tekken57 please let me know if I missed any changes that would need to be saved with a different slot.

Here is the tutorial using Cheat Engine.  Significantly more dangerous in my opinion.  A lot of people have been asking for this one, I still personally use XPacker

So I wanted to make a video tutorial for installing superstars with XPacker, hopefully this helps out those that were having issues or were a bit lost without visuals.

I plan to add a Type out of the process as well soon, but for now the relevant info is in the Spoiler below.

I'm not sure where i'm going wrong but i've followed the tutorial multiple times now to install both Goldberg and Jeff Hardy mods, yet after i've switched the divas to superstars to access the menu I can't find any of the modded superstars listed?

I've also added the pac files to the plistWin32.def file and restarted but they still don't appear.

Which version do you use? 32-bit or 64-bit?

I've just installed the strings.pac file from the Community DLC topic and I can find them now. Was it just that they were there but named something else?

Yes, without the modded string.pac they are named different. For example Goldberg is named "bray wyatt manager".

yeah adding this would involve a whole nother list of things to go over.  I wanted to make a simple tutorial that would get them into the game.  I'll add string file edits to my ever growing to do list~

Female Paige is similar install just select the right folder from prinsto's mod folder.

There is no real structure in place like there is in xpacker. you will be loading the memory anywhere in the game if you don't do it correctly.  Messing up any part of the game by accident.

I recommend backing up your save before trying this. It is incredibly easy to mess up and the game can sometimes save for whatever reason.

As for this, you could essentially just go to the address and set the male value to female.

Hardy Might Show Up under a different name if you didn't install the string files, otherwise try again by reloading your backup save and doing the process over again.

Tekken's goldberg if you are getting an error perhaps double check that you are doing every step including clicking the edit button before you click the OK button when loading the file.

With Scott Steiner the memory should have the right titantron number if you download the Titantrons from the modding thread.

The next planned tutorial right now is string edits, but I'll add custom trons to my list as well.

The game pretty much won't know that the character is there so you won't be able to use him.  Better of replacing someone else for now. I'd have to do a more advanced tutorial to go over how to make a pofo/moveset file without it breaking.

So i added Jeff Hardy and Finn Balor but they don't show up, anyone know where they are?

 

Edit - Finn Balor was Shawn Michaels for some reason. He was ch499. I can't find Hardy right now. The Community DLC thread his pac file is ch111
