EZY Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 So I don't like the AJ to Male switch to use the added wrestlers with X Packers. Can I use X Packer to write over retro wrestlers? If so, how would I go about changing the names? Any How to's or links I can use would be appreciated. and thanks in advance. Quote
Prinsto Posted June 28, 2015 Posted June 28, 2015 (edited) To replace whole ch files is possible without X-Packer. Take a look at my tutorial for that: http://smacktalks.org/forums/topic/56931-release-paige-prinstos-mods-nakamura-preview-pg-4/?do=findComment&comment=730261To change names you have to edit the strings with X-Packer like this (ignore the 360 stuff and you maybe need to edit the dlc string files):http://sf4mods.blogspot.de/2013/11/editing-stringpac.html Edited June 28, 2015 by Prinsto Quote
EZY Posted June 28, 2015 Author Posted June 28, 2015 Cool thank you. I'll try those links. I was hoping it was some easier with X-packer. Sole reason I wanted it was to add wrestlers. However I find it inconvenient using the AJ switch. AJ wrestles men now. I can only play with the added wrestlers and not again them. So I rather just replace them. And thx again. Quote

muff209 Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 I have tried and I've changed the names but how do I save the entry... I press enter and thats it?Have to save it then inject the PACH into the string file Quote
Cave Waverider Posted July 3, 2015 Posted July 3, 2015 (edited) On a side note, you could also edit string.pac with a hex editor if you simply want to replace existing wrestlers (simply do a string search for the name of the wrestler you wish to replace and replace all instances of it. There are also things like the character selection name, short name, entrance name, social account name, etc. in there which might be different. Note, however, that you'll have to keep the names of the strings at the same length as the original when doing it this way (if the new one is shorter, you can fill the rest with blank spaces, but be careful not to get longer than the respective original string). EZY Posted July 3, 2015 Author Posted July 3, 2015 Yes, I saw that in the hex editor. It seemed really easy. However, I didn't know to compress the files back. And that was really easy with X-Packer. I still have to look for the in match names. Quote

I do not understand, you're playing in wwe 2k15 on PC and install mods using the pac file, but I play the wii and just because of this, I ask the texture instead of pac file to just as you play with this great mod Quote
