Yes. The counter is tied to your internal PC clock, so setting it forward will beat the limit.

I ended up making the counter reset a separate tool. The counter reset tool requires the program to be run as as administrator (which currently isn't required of the Save Swapper) in order to manipulate the date/time to reset the counter, also since the Save Swapper is inaccessible while the game is running, you wouldn't be able to reset the counter while in game, you'd only be able to do it once before the game started, I decided that making them two separate programs was probably the better idea.
