AlcLegacy Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 I know that an object has to have the same number of vertices to be injected, but what does the "inject smaller" option do? I extract an object, for example, Undertaker's Singlet top and try injecting it into Sting's hand (higher number of vertices) and I get an error message. What's going on here? Is there a work around for the vertices by importing? Quote
wtferrell Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Tekken said it doesn't work properly as the bones or movements aren't stored in the yobj's, or something of that nature. You have to "export" the item instead of extracting it, that way you get the "header information" required to import smaller. You can give it a try, and it worked fine for me in the match, but during the entrance, parts were just floating everywhere, haha. Quote

That's what I currently do lol Quote
wtferrell Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Yeah, so instead of Extracting, you use export so it outputs the header file. After that, it should work? Quote

tekken57 Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 This function does not work on the pc version as the rigging information is different. It will work on the hair objects of the pc version though. Also if you are trying to move heads from one model to another, usually the import and export functions work as the number of verts is the same. Sometimes it doesn't work as the faces are different, but it's trial and error. Quote

I saw that with your Goldberg mod you said something about disabling facial expressions, will I have to do that to get the mod to work? As I'm just using Sting's head as a base and morphing it to match Hart's. Quote
tekken57 Posted June 11, 2015 Posted June 11, 2015 Yes any changes to the face requires the animations to be disabled. Quote
AlcLegacy Posted June 11, 2015 Author Posted June 11, 2015 Thanks for the response, is greatly appreciated. Quote
