Apost Khan Posted May 29, 2015 Author Posted May 29, 2015 (edited) Can't wait for the release bro! Will it still work on MS Excel though? I just checked and the answer is... sort of. Some stuff doesn't load at all and some loads looking pretty janky. You can try to use Excel if you wish but I highly recommend using Libre Office for this. It's 100% free and a pretty small file. All the formulas are the same, cells, ect. It's exactly the same as Excel, it just retains image quality a hell of a lot better. Here is what my tracker looks like in Libre. Here is the same sheet in Excel. I think you'll agree, it's a pretty big difference in visual fidelity. Edited May 29, 2015 by Apost Khan Quote
Apost Khan Posted May 30, 2015 Author Posted May 30, 2015 (edited) The second part of my tutorial series has been uploaded. I hope to get all my tutorials uploaded before the tracker launches but my upload speeds aren't great. Each video is about 1.5 gbs and it takes me about 2 hours to up that big of a file to Youtube. Apost Khan Posted June 2, 2015 Author Posted June 2, 2015 Hyperlinks in Libre are broken and don't work like excel. Here is my tutorial on how to fix them. It's really easy. Quote
Ticaliano Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Apost, I think I already know the answer to 2 questions I have, but I'm going to ask anyway: 1. Will this tracker tie into the game somehow and record all of the data automatically, or does all of the information have to be input manually? 2. Does the tracker ever appear in the actual game, or is it completely external? Quote

Does the tracker ever appear in the actual game, or is it completely external? 1. No, but with the ability to screen-cap with Steam (F12) it is a thousand times easier than before. Match cards are literally cut and paste. 2. All external. This just exists as a supplemental companion app until 2K can fix all that was broken from the THQ days, and implement proper stat tracking into the actual game. 2K knows how to make sports game, I'm confident by 2K18 my program will be unnecessary.
