hword Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 (edited) Created a megathread to put all these in one place. Based on other user's submission this seems to be the correct way to do this. All of these are available on the community creations for PC. Some still require moves, attributes and entrances but feel free to download if you'd like to customise those yourself. Thanks Firstly a huge thank you to all of the following: Penguin for linking me to a thread filled with valuable face textures for various NJPW wrestlers, to IamCrazyPT for originally posting the previously mentioned textures, TopDog23 for a suggestion helping me create better likenesses, AgeofSandow who has offered to help me with some move sets for these guys and anyone who has left a kind word on any of these threads. Updates Katsuyori Shibata has been updated as of 20th May. Fixed his appearance yet again as he looked a little too 'Caucasian'. Tomohiro Ishii has been updated as of 20th May. Made him fatter with body morphing. Played a match with him and he looked way too thin. All CAW have signature and finisher moves appropriate to the wrestler but may have a randomly picked preset move list for basic attacks if there is a note stating they require moves. Newest entry Kenta Kobashi The legendary Kenta Kobashi. Arguably one of the best performers to ever step into the ring. Known as one of the driving forces of the great age of All Japan Pro Wrestling during the 90's and a mainstay for Pro Wrestling NOAH following the All Japan exodus. Kenta Kobashi was involved in a whopping 23 5 star matches (as rated by Dave Meltzer) over the course of 1990 to 2005 - almost one for every year as a competitor! Many of those teamed with or facing the equally legendary Mitsuharu Misawa, who you may know as Tiger Mask II. Feel like this could still be improved. Much better than my first build. Unfortunately his signature hairstyle is a floppy mop with a prominent fringe/bangs and none of the default hairstyles have hair over the forehead making it hard to get a good likeness since hair has a huge impact on how the character looks. There is a slight tear where the face texture ends but judging from how he looked when I set the entrance this shouldn't be visible during entrances or matches. Any suggestions for improvements are welcomed. Notes: Has a completed move set and is equipped with Mark Henry's entrance. CAW Screenshots: Photo for comparison: Previous submissions Satoshi Kojima One of only three wrestlers to hold the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, Triple Crown Championship and NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Currently in the heyday of his career he is often seen tagging with fellow NJPW veteran Tenzan (probably my next submission). It took some effort but I think this jacket turned out sweet. Too sweet even. There is a noticeable tear on his forehead and neck where the face texture I used to overlay his face ends and the CAW's skin begins. You can only see it close up though so I doubt it'll be too much of a problem in-game. Note: Still requires move set and entrance. CAW screenshots: Photo for comparison: Tomohiro Ishii Former NEVER openweight champion Tomohiro Ishii. I included a bunch of bandages since he's spent the better part of the last 12 months wrestling with an injured shoulder after separating it at the G1 climax last year. This guy is tough as nails, living up to his nickname "The Stone Pitbull". Formerly a bit of a jobber at the bottom of the New Japan he now beats the p*** out of people until they can't get up anymore. Note: Still requires move set and entrance. CAW screenshots: Photo for comparison: Tomoaki Honma The lovable underdog. Honma's kokeshi headbutt is probably the most over move in Japan at the moment. The crowd goes crazy for him every time and he rarely fails to have a fantastic match. He is formerly a deathmatch wrestler (notice the thick scars on his forehead) for Big Japan wrestling and is credited as the first person to use light tubes during a wrestling match. Note: requires entrance but is complete otherwise. CAW screenshots: Photos for comparison: Katsuyori Shibata One of the best strikers in wrestling today. A very 'no nonsense' competitor that still wears the plain black trunks of the young boys. You won't see him posing and playing to the crowd, you'll see him kick the snot out of fools dumb enough to step into the ring with him. His career began as a rising star in the NJPW ranks but quickly went into wrestling as a freelancer and a short career in mixed martial arts. Many look down upon him for abandoning the company when they needed new stars but has been making amends by delivering fantastic matches with the likes of Nakamura, Tanahashi, Ishii, Goto and many others. Expect a strong showing from him at this years G1 climax. Notes: everything complete. CAW screenshots: Photo for comparison: Edited May 27, 2015 by hword 1 Quote
AgeofSandow Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 I like the intros. It's good for people just getting into New Japan. Quote
hword Posted May 19, 2015 Author Posted May 19, 2015 (edited) Kojima shorts should be longer You're right, his tights are quite a bit longer than the ones I have on him. Unfortunately all the tights I have to choose from seem to be the same size, there are shorts but they are too long (below the knee) are much looser than his real life attire. Let me know if you know any ways around it or if there is a suitable pair I missed. If there is something I can swap it with it's a very easy thing to fix. I remember the old games used to have an option on some pants to shorten/lengthen the legs, is that still a thing in 2k15? Thanks for the suggestions and feedback everyone I'm getting the hang of the CAW GUI making it easier to use and my characters more accurate. Edited May 19, 2015 by hword Quote
