WWE 2K16 Teased for Release in October 2015

Courtesy of WWE 2K on Twitter, they have teased WWE 2K16 scheduled to be released in October 2015. 2K Sports claims that WWE 2K16 will have the "largest roster of any WWE video game," but that remains to be seen. You can see the tweet below:

Let's see, but I'm not crossing my fingers. They could always push it back to spring of 2016 when people are just about done with the game to coincide with the announcement of WWE 2K17 .

Still think that Mania week is the time to release it, more time for development,hype and not many big games release at the end of March. Hopefully 2K have shifted their lazy asses into gear this year and not just left Yukes to make a half finished piece of shit game again.

well your thinking and them doing are 2 different things.and you cant keep blaming yukes. VC were the ones that made changes and decided not to add abcdef&g features from previous games.

well technically 2k14 was the largest (not counting duplicates) and 2k15 was the second largest (again not counting dupes) i'm hoping 2k16 will have the 2k14 vast array of legends as well as current roster and nxt graduates

They are already two separate teams, Im pretty sure last gen wont affect current gen. Besides, its current Gen that held back the last gen version of 2k15 not the other way around.

Custom themes/game modes were remove from 360/ps3 because of PS4/XBOne version

That I agree I just meant in terms of testing. I thought the same team was on both. To be honest I hardly followed the news regarding teams.

Guess I was comparing it to how svr11 wwe12 and 13 pretty much had the same teams for ps2(svr11) wii (wwe12-13) and 360/ps3. In the modding scene it would be a shame when last gen gets the can so I guess I can see both sides from a gaming perspective

I dunno man, I know 2k releases nba 2k on ps2 4 years when 360/ps3 was big and I know ea said they'd support last gen till 2017 so there's that although there's the argument that ea UFC only came out on current gen and I hated it lol so I dunno. Damned if they do damned if they don't.

But yeah in a way it will be sad when last gen officially stops getting wwe games. I mean 2k14 IMO was the best on last and their servers are scheduled to shut off next October (2016)
