TheBleedingRed21 Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 After digging through this, this contains all the videos from the arenas, such as transition video, the video on the display above the crowd, and more. However, I cannot get it to play. I have been able to disable the transition video between the matchup screen and entrances so it feels better with the mod I am working on.Does anyone have any clue how to get the videos to play? The default video files are bink 2.4d video files with an alpha plane. It seems only way to get Bink 2 is to be a developer, so I am wondering if this means it is impossible to import our own videos like this. Quote
beastedot9 Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 (edited) Where are these files located if you don't mind me asking? If it's the ones I'm thinking of with M00000 at the start, rename them as .bik and they should play. Edited May 17, 2015 by beastedot9 Quote
TheBleedingRed21 Posted May 17, 2015 Author Posted May 17, 2015 I know how to get them to play. I am asking how to replace them properly. I am near certain it's impossible since we cannot use bink 2 software. And they are in pac>Evt Quote

TheBleedingRed21 Posted May 17, 2015 Author Posted May 17, 2015 I don't think there is an answer honestly unless someone can figure if there is a file that tells the game what video files to use. Like I said, the default videos are bink 2.4d compressed videos, no modder can do that unless they have developer access to bink 2 Quote
El Buvor Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Bink 2 files can be replaced without any problem with Bink 1 ones (on 360, I believe it's the same on PC). You can make transparent files with Sony Vegas for example (by creating AVI files with an alpha channel). Quote

Also, I wonder if after you convert it, you could inject it into the file thus replacing the video. Quote
pozzum Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 I can try replacing the videos later today but I ended up extracting the videos and commenting them out here. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1SP-pDrcl8pBA2JsQ-_6UzFT29bhe68xlI6ZowTTaRu8/edit#gid=1851824268 There seems to be 2 sets of videos for Wrestlemania XXX and one set for NXT Arrival , and a few don't have crowd videos. TheBleedingRed21 Posted May 17, 2015 Author Posted May 17, 2015 (edited) Guys, I easily made the bink files I needed, but when you open RAD TOOLS and compare the two files you see the differences.I tried just replacing my bink file with the default and it works but is completely black.(This is how I replaced the Hell In A Cell video, made a .5 second video and injected it. Does not play anything and skips the transition video going straight to entrances.)The cool note here is that I used the golden era WWF intro where it shows the red WWF logo and the voiceover before the events, it lasted that long but is black whole time.El Buvor, great idea, maybe it HAS to have an alpha to work. Are you saying that I would use my video file, create alpha inside there but make it transparent and it should work? That is my issue right now, it plays but is all black. Three differences in default and mine.Bink 2.4d is default, mine is Bink 1 file.Alpha Plane on default, mine has none. The default is also compressed using 2.4d, mine is not. DarylWise Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Well I have ALL of the arena trons, mini trons, titan trons, nameplates and wall trons. For the files that I extracted that are not in regular Bink format, I change the file extension to BK2. Works everytime, no problems. Now, I've just got to rename all of the files. LOTS of files to go through. Quote
DarylWise Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Btw, I open my PAC files with the program from this thread: Then I extract, then rename the p0fo files to BK2, done. Quote
beastedot9 Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Search Bulk Rename Utility. Helps if you need the same extension for multiple files. Quote
TheBleedingRed21 Posted May 19, 2015 Author Posted May 19, 2015 Daryl, I got all of them to play, I know and have done all of that. You cannot replace it with just a bink file you convert from rad. It's a lot more complex than that. Don't rename a bunch of files until you know it works with the first one. Quote
TheBleedingRed21 Posted May 19, 2015 Author Posted May 19, 2015 Put this is notepad and save as .batch REN *.bk2 *(whatever you need) When you run the batch inside your folder, it'll rename all for you. Quote

All of the files play for me just fine. I just need to rename the files according to the content. Like RAW 02 Nameplate, or Summerslam Transition and etc. Quote
TheBleedingRed21 Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 (edited) You got it working in game? How? You cannot simply take bk2 and inject it into the xpacker and load it in game, won't work, if it did for you, please explain how.And just an FYI, the video does not have to be the same file as you are replacing, ex. mov100000 can be replaced with WWF Intro and work just fine.EDIT::If you mean "play" as play on your PC, obviously it will work there, or do you mean IN GAME you get it to play the transition video or name plate change? Because I have tried everything to get transitions to work in game and there is nothing. Edited May 20, 2015 by TheBleedingRed21 Quote

TheBleedingRed21 Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 Okay yeah that sucks lol hoped you found a way. I can get any file to play but switching them and playing in game is the troublesome part. We need someone with more info badly!!! Quote
beastedot9 Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Okay this was bothering me so I decided to give it a go. The screen was black when first starting a match at the RR, but when I exited, the transition movie showed as seen below with a Smackdown transition (using a trial version of a converter lol): First things first here is what I did: 1. Converted the original file to avi format with RADtools 2. Opened it up and my edited clip into Sony vegas. 3. Cut the original out and left my edited clip. 4. Rendered with same settings but as AVI. 5. Had to convert to WAV (might not be needed as I was having issues 'binking' it in AVI) 6. Binked it with RADtools and injected it into the file. Things I noticed: 1. When converting it said it was part of a sequence and if I didn't opt to convert the sequence to AVI it would give me a 1 second clip of nothing basically. 2. The clip when converted actually contains transitions from multiple arenas, for example mine contained RR, NOC, Elimination chamber, HIAC and others I can't recall. 3. The initial transition to the matchup gives me a black screen, but exiting gave me the clip I injected. Hope this gives someone a base to work off of. Quote
TheBleedingRed21 Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 This was a tutorial for this posted for consoles, tried it over and over and I cannot get it to work on PC. If anyone wants to give it a whirl, hopefully you will have success. Quote
