TheBleedingRed21 Posted May 19, 2015 Author Posted May 19, 2015 Not happening until the dlc comes out. Quote
LordJustice17 Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 We've been able to replace them for a while, but they try to adhere to the geometry of the wrong barricade so they end up looking like this: Quote
LordJustice17 Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Note: Like TheBleedingRed21 said, we won't get the actual rails until the DLC drops. Quote
gracik Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Well here's hoping it works out correctly when the DLC comes out. Is the reason the rails come out like that(in the corner) because there's no actual curved classic rail, like the modern setup has? Just asking because I'm not too familiar with the way this game works. I've modded for years just never with wrestling games. Quote
TheBleedingRed21 Posted May 19, 2015 Author Posted May 19, 2015 Yeah see when I replace the entrance files from nxt into raw, during entrances it works perfect because it uses the geometry. But during gameplay, it does what he showed. We got to find the in game rail files. Quote
TheBleedingRed21 Posted May 19, 2015 Author Posted May 19, 2015 QUESTION FOR COMMUNITY Would you guys rather have 1999 judgement day where it used generic wwf apron or 2004 where it actually said judgment day Quote
STGuy321 Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 QUESTION FOR COMMUNITY Would you guys rather have 1999 judgement day where it used generic wwf apron or 2004 where it actually said judgment day I prefer 1999. But either way is fine. Quote
LordJustice17 Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 For context: Judgment Day 2004 Judgment Day 99 (same aprons as the Fully Loaded we showed earlier) Quote

Just asking because I'm not too familiar with the way this game works. I've modded for years just never with wrestling games. They appear like that because when you put them into a WWE arena they try to adhere to the geometry of the default barricade. We need to find a way to use the NXT geometry so that they fall correctly. Quote
TheBleedingRed21 Posted May 19, 2015 Author Posted May 19, 2015 Have not updated in a little while on my side, been busy with new job that started. Here are page 2 of arenas - Some of the default will be changing as we found a new trick for mats so we can add more arenas!! Quote

wtferrell Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 I wasn't going to mention the ropes, I didn't know if it'd be possible. That's phenomenal man. I appreciate this. Just awesome job. Quote
TheBleedingRed21 Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 Okay, last few spots need an arena, community suggestions? MUST BE FROM 1980's-2001.Prefer a non generic ring if possible.Let's hear it Quote
wtferrell Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Just because I'm biased, Starrcade 97, haha. One of the Mid Atlantic rings. I'm also biased towards this ring: http://www.nwalegends.com/gallery/albums/userpics/normal_bc3.jpg Or the WCW/New Japan Supershow II I'm going to, haha. make it difficult for you all. Quote
TheBleedingRed21 Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 (edited) We actually took out one of the starrcades, but might add 97 in, keep them coming Also: There are 38 arenas by default before DLC - We are bringing you guys 31-33 CUSTOM ARENAS! Just wanted to share that tidbit, cannot wait to get the beta release out to you guys! Edited May 20, 2015 by TheBleedingRed21 Quote
wtferrell Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 I'd love to see a fall brawl: war games. I'd preferably love to see it replace the elimination chamber, so I could have a 3 v 3 elimination tag "war games" match. Quote
TheBleedingRed21 Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 There is a fall brawl '94 war games. Quote
Def Dave Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 WWF Raw early-mid 90's (Manhattan Center & other smaller venues, high school gyms and such) WWF Survivor Series '97 (Montreal Screwjob) WWF WrestleMania 2 (my personal sentimental favorite) and... WWF WrestleMania IX (Ceasar's Palace) ^This may not be possible yet but if someone could locate wall textures then maaaaybe it could be done? When I was modding SVR11 on PS3, I found the sky textures for the Tribute To The Troops arena and replaced them with some WrestleMania III Pontiac Silverdome crowds and domed roof as seen here for proof of concept example: Again, I don't know if this is even possible now but it could be cool if it is. Thank you guys for your hard work on these mods. I can't wait to play with them. Oh, also...I like the barricade textures you were testing. Until the actual old school barricades are found, I personally wouldn't mind using what you've put together with the textures on the NXT stuff. Quote
LordJustice17 Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 Our main problem right now with the barricades is finding out how to place them right. Even if we replace all the arena settings for a WWE arena in the misc_start01.pac with the arena settings for the NXT arena is still uses the WWE geometry. The main signs of this are: a) the barricade corners don't show up right (because the WWE arenas use a curve while the NXT arena uses a straight barricade placed on an angle) b) the announce table stays even though it falls behind the NXT barricade c) the invisible barriers follow the WWE structure meaning that even though a barricade appears to cut off the area where the announce table is you can walk right through it and stand beside the table as you could in the WWE arenas IF ANYONE has ANY ideas how we could swap these to use the NXT geometry on selected WWE arenas it would be a huge step forward. Right now we are stuck on that point, so any help would be great. Quote

Right now we are stuck on that point, so any help would be great. I've been trying this too and I'm led to believe a simple overwrite won't work. The crowd is probably different as is the size of the stadium which all comes together. I've also seen in Floor Mattresses a texture called _AO which shows the outline of NXT and then the rest of the rings in another texture. Differences I'm talking about are for example in the NXT arena: 1. This setting gave me the crowd but but no barrier. Yet there was still the invisible wall. 2. Next setting I tried and it pushed the crowd back like it does for the other arenas. There was a space in the middle for the announce table but there was still the invisible wall. I don't know if this helps much but I'll keep trying and see if I make any breakthroughs. Quote
