Looking to set one up, only just started research so figured if someone could point me in the best direction before I make a poor decision and head down the wrong rabbit hole. At the minute I don't know weather to just build a low power PC and run something like freeNAS, or buy a proper NAS system... If I'm doing the latter, synology is getting the best reviews I've seen. Main usage would be ftp file sharing around my local network and for my bros etc in their homes so remote access is needed. Biggest usage would be for media o imagine! If I can take that a step further and run all torrents though that etc too Jeff, your opinion I'm this topic is already invalid, sorry Quote
