LordBarker Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Hi all, Used Rooster's tip a while ago to reduce the 360 arc. I've noticed it's at 188 again now as I've done a fair bit of adding. Wondered if there are other lines safe to remove to reduce the size a bit more? As the limit is 190 right? Cheers Quote
Red Rooster Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Nope the limit is 188, although it depends on how you view the size as sometime it is reported slightly differently. Have you removed 30 Years of Wrestlemania mod? It freed up another 2 or 3kb for me. Quote
kim666 Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Did anyone try to mod the "default.xex" like undertakerwlf did with the "eboot.bin" on ps3? Quote

No I didn't mate - what data should I be looking to remove? Cheers Did anyone try to mod the "default.xex" like undertakerwlf did with the "eboot.bin" on ps3? Has anyone been able to decrypt it correctly yet? I've also still to try the PS3 eboot trick yet! Quote

El Guapo Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 Did anyone try to mod the "default.xex" like undertakerwlf did with the "eboot.bin" on ps3? Through the combined efforts of many people on this forum so much has become possible in this game, but I think doing away with the restrictions imposed by the arc file are the key here to blowing everything wide open. LordBarker Posted May 17, 2015 Author Posted May 17, 2015 Probably being daft but I can't find the 'season' text in my arc. Quote
motishow Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Probably being daft but I can't find the 'season' text in my arc. look at your plist def file , and look for the entrie number to find it in your plist.arc file There are four season files Quote
Red Rooster Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Probably being daft but I can't find the 'season' text in my arc. The season files arent in the arc, open them with Xpacker and find the names of the pach files, thats what is in the arc. Quote
Red Rooster Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Did anyone try to mod the "default.xex" like undertakerwlf did with the "eboot.bin" on ps3? I just tried it, but I get a Fatal Exception crash everytime. I tried just 00ing out the first occurrence of plist360.arc but no luck, Ive also tried removing all occurrences of plist360.arc and same crash. I have tried re-encrypting the default.xex but it doesnt seem to matter the JTAG/RGH can play the decrypted xex just fine. Quote
