Half Request, Half simple question

This is kind of a request, but more really, it's just a simple question to any mod makers who might've taken a look at movesets. I'm curious if there has been any progress in seeing if it's moddable to set a strong strike as a finisher (IE the nice looking superkick that we got this year as a strong strike, which absolutely should be a selectable finisher).
