Framerate Fix - Side Effects Unknown

I decided to go lurking for files and see what they did, I ended up finding something interesting..

In C:\Users\(PCNAME)\Documents\WWE2K15 there is a config file.

I opened it with notepad and changed: IMPORTANT - MUST CHANGE FILE TO READ ONLY OTHERWISE IT REVERTS BACK

[rate]
denominator = 1
numerator = 60

to

[rate]
denominator = 60
numerator = 60

This locked my ingame FPS to 60, at 1 for denominator, my game dropped to 30 FPS during the opening match tie ups and ALL cinematic moves (the one where camera goes in at a different angle), by changing the value, the tie ups and moves remain at 60 FPS. **Entrances are still dropping to 30 FPS**

No idea if this fixes everyone that has this issue or what it may affect. More testing is needed to be 100% sure it is safe, but it is easy to change back if problems arise.

Hope to get feedback from you guys.

EDIT::

Few issues found with this for my side anyways..

1) You cannot edit from the launcher since the file is now READ ONLY, you must uncheck it, change what you want, then recheck it. It can be a hassle, but personally, I do not change settings all the time.

2) For some reason, as read-only, it changes my game to 1920x1080 50hz, I have to go IN GAME to change it back to 60hz which gives me the full screen 60 FPS, at 50hz, you get a black border and only 50FPS. This is the biggest issue, however, you can go in game to graphic settings and simply change it one time every time you load it, it beats having to deal with the slow motion while playing.

this did not help me i changed the config file but every time i go in the game it gets back to 1 do you have a solution for me ? thanks

Also, posted some new found issues while doing this, for me, I can live with them because I CANNOT STAND the slow motion BS.

I'll give this a shot. My framerates are generally fine but even on my beefy rig I have issues sometimes with slowdowns in tie-ups.

My default setting was:

What the fuck does that mean? Haha.

Man just Alt+Tab during the entrance or any other 30fps stuff and you get 60fps(Vsync must be on). Side effect - you got motion blur and some effects f@#cked up.

Hmmmm, i followed your steps to the T and it locked my fps to 24 for everything, thanks for the post though, this game is so poorly optimized for the PC platform

The game will change the values for some reason, no clue why.

 

Just change it to 60/60 if you have the issue. Make it read only, suffer the slight issues and enjoy!

 

Gold, it might have locked it down to 24 because your resolution. Go IN GAME to graphic settings and set it to 1920x1080 (60hz) or whatever resolution you use with (60hz)

Great find. Tried it out in a six man HIAC match and there was little lag. Before I barely get through it with the lag.

I know that going from fullscreen to windowed, then putting fullscreen again during an entrance is putting the framerate to 60 FPS.

 

I remember that I had some lag problems and some titantrons problems (maybe only because of the fullscreen/windowed changes during the entrance).

numerator = 60000

 

and it flys..
