Just won my first match with "Bray Wyatt (Manager)" :p. Awesome job on Goldberg Tekken. Looks awesome in game.

Is it me, or is his head comically tiny compared to his chest and a slightly different colour? Body and textures look incredible though, got his FAAAATASSES perfect

If you think his head is comically small compared to his body then its probably a pretty accurate rendition. :p

 

Looking awesome so far, although the chain-mail kinda looks like a wedding veil..lol

 

Good stuff Tek. Keep "pumping" out those nWo members to feed Goldberg's winning streak.

The mesh is not going to be in the release, it's not mapped to head bones and moves with the body. Not going to waste time sculpting it if is not going to work. Just wanted to include in it the pic as I knew people would ask me to hack the chain mail in.

 

With regards to the sizing of the head, I've scaled the body and head in accordance with the 2k14 model. His head is quite small compared to his body in real life though, as you can see in the ref pic. The head is a slightly different colour because is his head from 2k14 hacked into the game. It uses different shaders, nothing I can do about it.

 

There's quite a few hacks on this for the eagle eyed. The glasses are from hogan's model and this attire is not created in creation suite.

Hey Tekken, would it work if we added a AO map to the 2k14 models? Like I remember crazy bump being able to make quick and dirty ao maps. Just curious?

My guesses are trunks (Flair's or Austin's) with very well painted and mapped legs, Batista's body, and maybe two facial hair objects?

IMO, add more "fullness" look into the cheeks..they have a bit of a boney look in them that seems to take away from the face:

I will send you the obj from Smackdown HCTP for the chain mail,i think you should Topogun over that to get the perfect shape

@lordjustice17, Lex Lugers body with lots of sculpting, Hogan's entire model with only glasses rendering, konnors entire model with only the mesh rendering, 4 separate face parts from 2k14, hair and goatee from 2k14.

 

@eri619, shaping the mesh is not the problem. The problem is that the mesh doesn't move with the head.

 

@wolfgangJT, do you suggest moving the cheeks outwards or lowering them?

Updated Steiner based on the suggestions for the cheek area. Pretty much final now, just need to finalise the moveset. Thanks to RaieE and eri619 for the assisting with the face and attire textures.

Looks awesome man. At the :27 mark when he flexs, the muscle goes to his shoulder lmao. Thought that was funny. Can't wait till release.

also, Goldberg doesn't seem to ever show up on a nameplate during entrance. Is that right?

Goldberg is perfect. Steiner's face is decent.  Steiner's hair(and facial hair) is accurate and so is everything from the neck down. If you guys get the chain mail down, that would just top it off.

If we were talking CAW style, lower Y axis (more full/long on the bone structure), more X-axis (width) in the lower cheek to take out the sunk-in look.  Not sure how to describe it in the programs you use, so hope that helps.

 

EDIT:  Just saw the new vid...that's what I was meaning.  Looks better now, as far as what I can tell video-wise.

Started working on an Angle mod at bravebird's request. Actually starting to turn out ok but something is off from the front view, can't figure out what. From the side view and in motion it looks a lot like Angle.

 

Ignore the singlet, will probably replace it with Swaggers singlet:

Here's a 3ds max preview. I had to do a lot of work on the eye area to get the placement right. Also had to make the eyes and lips bigger in 3dsmax as the game makes them smaller:

that left eyebrow is throwing it off.  It's almost straight, where as the other is more curved like Angles brows. That looks REALLY nice.  If you can contour the left eyebrow like the right eyebrow, then I'd say it's right on.
