It looks absolutely terrific.

Does this mean we can import over the golden era wrestlers like Big John Studd?

Hey, Tekken. Goldberg looks great, awesome work! :)

The older model thing is a nice discovery too, but I can’t help but feel it detracts from what’s already been achieved on PC, and what will come in the future. I mean, some of the last gen console models look amazing as you know, but on last gen consoles. The old models just look like crap next to the new high poly environments, and it’s the same with arenas too. When I first got the game on PC, I injected a few of the old Arena objects into it, but hated the way they looked next to the high poly Wrestler models.  I just think rather than backtrack because it’s an easy option, we should do what you have done with Goldberg, and utilize what’s on PC. When I eventually get back into it, I intend on creating Areas with objects already on PC. That's the only way we're going to move forward :)

I don't mind the low poly Wrestler models at all. I say both options can be done. The easier option is the way to go in the meantime. The other option will take months and months (probably years) regardless. And one is a foundation for the other. The Imported wrestlers will provide a base from which to work with, making the tools we have even more popular.

They go hand in hand. They are not contrarian to one another.

Titan, as you seen, the new method can quickly get us superstars.. Why spend weeks working on one wrestler when we can quickly do it this way and have a full roster way before another version comes?

The old way looks good but takes so long, we still don't have any fully done yet.

Awesome work as always Tekken :)

Exactly!!.... It will simply take way too long.

I don't care much about the graphics as I do the roster and the corresponding proper movesets. That's the most important thing. That they move like their real life counterparts. And the low res models may actually help those with performance issues.

I'd rather work towards creating newer high poly models, like Tekken did with Goldberg. That's all i'm saying. If I want older models, I'm going to play on last gen. You have to remember, a year ago, everybody was damning last gen to hell because of how bad some of the models were. The quality was terrible, can't wait for next gen, f*ck last gen etc, etc. Us console modders spent the best part of that year making last gen playable again. Now you're able to import those old models into next gen, they're suddenly not so bad after all?

In the time it's going to take you to make an old model completely playable and bug free on next gen, you might as well have created a high poly version using a base from PC.

Each his own. I don't mind them. It's not about graphics at all for me.

Also, I could never ever make the model the way these guys have with Goldberg etc. This would be the only way I could remotely contribute to wrestlers. Lol

Well, it's definitely worth having a go man. That's the only way we're going to develop as a modding scene.

Which I guess is why everybody seems to be in such a hurry. I didn't realise we were in one? The last few comments since my first have been about how it takes too long.. if more people had a go at modelling and made less requests, maybe we’d get things done a little quicker? lol

Personally I see the potential in using the older models for future use. If we tessellate the low polys and the then tweak from there we could do some incredible updates that can rival the next gen models all without reinventing the wheel.
