Making a CAW an Alternate Attire

I was just curious if it was possible.

 

Obviously there's the in-game method that takes up a CAW slot, but I mean would it be possible to add the attire of said CAW to be an official alternate attire without taking the CAW slot? Do CAWs receive .pac files when they're created?

 

Would appreciate if anyone could give me an answer and if it is possible, direct me to where the CAW files are stored. :)
