Red Rooster
Does it have to be 3DSMax 2011? or does brienj's plugin work with 2013, etc? I forget which ones it was, but, yeah, it'd only work for specific versions. I have 2010's, for example, and it works on there. 2011 and lower Thanks Holy shit, is Smacktalks gonna join the lowly ranks of the modders? Red Rooster
in autodesk3ds max 2011 when i try to load up the 0000.yobj it keeps giving me a not responding error ? You just have to wait, the models can take 5+ mins to load because they are huge

GarrowGlitch
so if you edit the face, it will mess up in game. but what if you just edit the rigging in 3ds max? will that fix the problem?

You just have to wait, the models can take 5+ mins to load because they are huge I normally just extract the head object in X-Rey, loads instantly (Cheers for the tip Bannockburn) Edited May 11, 2015 by jcsix
flofresh
So I am editing Cameron's top right now and it tells me its not the right amount of vertices (X-Ray). I made sure to select all and the count is 743 when I start, I adjust them, select all and it still says 743 vertices. I am trying to either remove the left strap completely, or move it to the right side of her neck because I am turning her into Sasha Banks. I checked all the setting with the extraction and they match your tutorial perfectly. Is it just too much adjustment? Ihave been draging each individual vertices on the strap down between the back strap and the cup.
JC Superstar
Can anyone recommend an editor other than 3dmax, everytime i try and download it, it fails after 1gb. I have have tried a couple of others but they fail to display the model. There is Blender. Though I don't think the plugin would work with it. Scratcher
I found something interesting today... Go to Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\WWE 2K15\Cache there you will find all the textures extracted from the caws you have on your game and also md3 files but they are only 1kb big. amazing-maze
Excuse me, can anyone explain to me how I can find mods on this site???? I'm looking for the recent shaemus update mod and I see that there is no type of search options on this site. How can I find PC finished mods???? Is there anyway that someone can set up a site like "Themoddingway.com" so that we can easily search for finished mods.

And we can see what happends (Sorry for my english, I'm a native spanish speaker) The file format is yobj, you can export the files into standard wavefront object using X-Rey. The wavefront objects can then be edited in blender. Let me know which wrestlers model file you want to work on.

Tarnathos
short question. when replacing hair models, where can I find the texture file of the hair or does the hair get its color from the head_f.dds? In addition can additional .obj files added to a .yobj file? E.g. in the Undertaker pach-file I can not find the 2715 file and can be Sid Justice's pants put on William Regal for example? I am currently trying now my first steps after watching tutorials all night long Edited June 11, 2015 by Tarnathos

amazing-maze
Can we use 3d studio max 2014 or does it have to be 2011??? Also when you say that we need to install this "brienj's import plugin'....Do you mean this plugin http://forum.xentax.com/blog/?tag=brienj
jakeypearce
Same question. I got myself a copy of 3DS Max 2016, but it appears that it's not possible due to incompatibility with Brienj's plugin... deadjulian
The Version can't be newer than 2011 as far as i know.
AlcLegacy
You dont need the yobj plug in, I just extract the obj's and import separately, more work involved but much less time wasted waiting for it to load and you can use objs in just about any program. Before I went on a modding hiatus i was using the 2016 version of 3ds.
