PRINCE B3ASTIIE Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 Renaming the Pach in Xpacker is buggy, when I try it destroys the pac file for some reason. I dowbloaded youre misc file this morning. Ill let you know how it went when i get home. Thanks Quote
kim666 Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 I'm glad to hear it works. On console we get a new attire-misc file with every update. Quote
PRINCE B3ASTIIE Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 (edited) Thank you for sharing the misc01_start.pac I actually managed to get new alt attires for Wrestlers into the game that normally don't have any for this. Only drawback is, that all attires are set to "RAW" as name in XPacker and the standart names that are used ingame are not available. So you have to change the name values in Xpacker for all attires when you change the misc for the first time. To add an attire to a wrestler with non: Copy a wrestler PAC file that has the desired number of attires Rename it to the number of the wrestler you want to add attires to open it in HEX editor scroll down a little till you find the PACH numbers and rename them to the PACH numbers needed for your new wrestler now you can inject the PACH files without problem Hope my instruction is clear enough, if someone can explain better than me please feel free to do so I tested it with Bannock's Sheamus and the default one it works perfectly, but has anyone made a dummy pac file for pc. I tried to download the one in the xpacker topic but the link was down. EDIT: The one I found in ( ) works. It has 30 slots. Edited May 11, 2015 by PRINCE B3ASTIIE 1 Quote

Cave Waverider Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 (edited) Hm, I just noticed something odd. I set Nash for 8 attires with It works fine for all attires in exhibitions and My WWE, but I noticed that in WWE Universe mode, the attire list is messed up, with the first not having a name and and if you select one it actually shows the selection of the name of the next one instead (and random in the last entry). Here are some screenshots: Is this a known issue with more than 6 attires and Universe mode (I guess not, since CM Punk is showing 9 attires + random there, unless it's just an issue for those that originally had less attires)? Or is it a Nash specific problem since the original "pants and plain black shirt attire" he's wearing in create an entrance and some cutscenes seems to remain locked (at least it seems that way for me, unless I set it to one outfit more than there is)? Did I mess something up with my hex editing? Here is my Nash section in misc01_Start.pac: 4F 01 00 00 08 00 00 00 AE 8A 00 00 FF FF FF FF AD 8A 00 00 FF FF FF FF AF 8A 00 00 FF FF FF FF B0 8A 00 00 FF FF FF FF B1 8A 00 00 FF FF FF FF B2 8A 00 00 FF FF FF FF B3 8A 00 00 FF FF FF FF B4 8A 00 00 FF FF FF FF 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 Note that I tried various different name values for each and it didn't help. Update 1: Since CM Punk seems to have loads of attires that are working everywhere, I copied CM Punk's section since it has 9 attires over Nash's just to see what would happen: 4F 01 00 00 09 00 00 00 AD 8A 00 00 FF FF FF FF BB 8A 00 00 12 00 00 00 BD 8A 00 00 16 00 00 00 B4 8A 00 00 21 00 00 00 C7 8A 00 00 22 00 00 00 CA 8A 00 00 17 00 00 00 BF 8A 00 00 18 00 00 00 BA 8A 00 00 19 00 00 00 C6 8A 00 00 1A 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 Now it shows 8 selectable attires in exhibition and My WWE (+random and one locked still in My WWE), and 8 selectable ones in Universe (but still with the problem that it shows only the next one in the list when selected and no random and an empty space) and I can select each one, with the last one being the pants and plain black shirt attire: It really seems there is a problem with Nash in particular to me (although it would be interesting to see if other wrestlers are affected as well). Would anybody be so kind and check and confirm or refute this theory with their 8 attire Nash setup? Update 2: It seems like the attires are working in any case, it's just the list in Universe mode that's messed up for Nash for some reason. I'm still curious what's causing this anomaly. tekken57 Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Hmm that's an interesting anomaly. I've checked my misc entries and you haven't done anything wrong. I also cannot select the first attire, this is probably locked somewhere else as the attire is used in story mode. The reason why 9 attires work is because if the game cannot find an attire it selects the first attire by default. So when you select attire 9 it selects attire 1 as attire 9 doesn't exist. Quote

heelsquared Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 I tried the code which was posted above but I couldn't launch the game after that so went back to my backup. I'm an even bigger noob with this than I expected. Quote

Flamingo Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 (edited) I tried this file but its kinda strange because it adds attires to wrestlers that dont have more than one like The Undertaker. Edited May 12, 2015 by Flamingo Quote
kim666 Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Yes, because it is from wwe2k14. Simply change taker back to one attire. Quote

Dennisolsen Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Thanks for the tut, it will help the new guys. You can edit the misc in x-Packer also, there is an option under 2k15. Hey i tried to change the file in xpacker but by accident i pressed the set all to this value.. i made a backup and it works fine in the game but when i open in xpacker it automatic sets the value again so all alt. attires is called raw : ) so now to put the 8 attires on Nash i need i will need to have all attires called Raw i also tried the one in this post but the same thing it automatic sets the values..is there some way i can fix this?? Makes sense, thank you for the clarification and for checking my entries. It's pretty neat that the game defaults to the first attire if you do more, as it prevents crashes. And we can use Nash's second story mode attire (not that it's a particularly nice one anyway). I guess this trick could also be used to give the original attire a higher chance to be selected when using the Random attire option. Edited May 13, 2015 by Cave Waverider Quote

PRINCE B3ASTIIE Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 (edited) Added tutorial about making Custom Attire Names Thank you. I was looking for this but i couldn't remember where i found it a while back. I found some interesting info in the 000A string. Theres alot of comments on there that looks like it was supposed to be used for social media on mycareer (like the NBA 2K series where fans talk about you). (If <$Player> wins again I swear I'm going to stop watching the WWE.) I also found some where other superstars talk to you also. Looks like its gonna be in there next year, but for now these arent being used in the game so they could be used if you dont want to replace any of the ones that are being used..... and i found JACKSON ELLIS. if you are a fan of the NBA games you know who that is. Scratcher Posted May 13, 2015 Posted May 13, 2015 I also found out if you want to get the values for the real alt attire names, they are stored in the 0003 file. They go from the value 8AAD to 8AE1. The only 2 attires that are not in those values are "RAW 03" and "WRESTLEMANIA 6". But I found 3 attire names that are not used at all, not even by the dlcs that have yet to be released, those names are: "RAW (June 07, 04)" - 8ACF "PANTS" - 8AAE "SATURDAY NIGHT'S ME XXIV" - 8ADC Quote
