In case anyone is interested. I'll be writing out file specifications this weekend.

The purpose of this is for tool building.

so if this is stepping on toes, feel free to remove this thread and I'll leave things as they are here. No need to get toxic about it.

Dont worry, I doubt anyone would have a problem with this, the more information about the file types the better.

Bounce the thread and update for some source (C#) I threw together starting to parse the pac files.

Like I said on the 2K forums though. Far from done. But I'll put this out there in case anyone else wants to step up and help.

It's not 'hard'. It's just time consuming. Once you have a general idea of what you are looking for it becomes like one of those seek and find word games.

You unnecessarily brought Tekken into this and called him and his practices shady. They came to his defense. I'm not saying the other replies were warranted--I made that clear--but your initial remark wasn't either. It's not like it was an unprovoked response either. Uncalled for? Yes, very much so--but not unprovoked--which yours actually was.

 

That said, I've cleaned this thread up once and don't want to have to keep doing this. This isn't the place to go on about things like this, if there is one at all.

 

Again, this is for Keshire's work. Not to speak for him, but work that I'd imagine he's doing presumably for people like yourself to benefit from.

Directories are now populated. Extraction works. Only EPK8s still though. I need to dig a bit deeper into the EPACs because I'm not sure if or how the hierarchy works.
